    In that mechanical engineering, you use mathematical models and virtual designs to display parts and designs, while designing, in what part of this engineering is calculus or derivatives or integrals applied?

    I'm really baffled about those cuz calculus is really hard to implement into real life...

    I had the same question about 3 years ago, and no one actually gave me a clear answer. But here is it: you will take a bunch of math courses, starting from calculus, differential equation all the way to Methods of Applied Math, I wasn't a big fan of math when I was in high-school (I actually hated it..lol), and did not do well in calculus and math in general in college..the good news though, you will only use basic calculus in the actual Mechanical Engineering courses.
