Ironically, many people who are racist believe they aren't . Racism (belief that race is a determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race justifying discrimination) is nothing more than an extreme form of ignorance. @HardworkingAmerican It's simply ignorance about what cultures do and don't do. Unfortunately, too many people get their cultural information from 'only' TV and the movies rather that also reading a book on a culture other that their own. Latino's favoring tacos as a staple is an example. Tacos are a food from mainly from one particular latino culture (Mexican). A large majority of Latinos are not Mexican.
