Sadly yes, this happened. Apparently it was so outrageous that thy had to retreat. The speaker of the parliament Mr. Larigani paid a local visit and then asked interior ministry for explanation and compensations for the victims. Read my eyewitness account above.
Additionally, I've seen more calls for the UN to get involved and speak up than Obama. It's a moot point now anyway as he's made a statement about human rights abuses, so go find some new reason to hate on him. Maybe you could dig up some more "info" on ACORN. LOL
The people of the U.S. support you, Iran! We may be individuals, but we are following your updates on sites like twitter and youtube and many of us have helped set up proxies so the state supression of internet access can be worked around.
A bunch of teenagers were chanting in support of Mousavi outside the main gate in Kaveh Blvd. About midnight, some 20 mobsters attacked those kids outside the gate and chased them inside the complex. Other residents helped out their children and pushed back those invaders (who were chanting in support of Ahmadinejad and calling themselves Hezbollah) They retreated after they encountered resistance.
... I have heard that a couple of the invaders were badly beaten up and were critically wounded which could explain their level of outrage. When they returned. I wasn't close enough to see myself.
After more than half an hour they came back with reinforcement. This time they were more and had support of about 50 men which had equipment similar to crowd control police. Those police-looking guys created a ring around the mobsters and kept residents away while the mobsters destroyed property....
... Then they suddenly retreated (before finishing their destruction) and a couple of minutes later the real crowd control police arrived and initially sealed the complex then moved in and secured the perimeters. When we told the police about the police-looking guys, they denied any involvement. One of the police officers hinted off-the-record that it could be Basij militia since they have received crowd control equipment for participating in the security of the elections...
It was so outragous that government had to do something: The speaker of the parliament Mr. Larijani asked interior ministry for explanation and asked them to compensate owners of the damaged properties, we will see.
The oldest trick - commit an act, and blame it on an enemy of yours. Hitler used this strategy when he staged an attack in Gleiwitz (Poland) to orchestrate an attack of polish resistance fighters, which he then used to claim that "germany will now fight back".
In reality, they prepared the assault on Poland years ago and just needed a prextex. The USA instigated the same "Pearl Harbour II" (and even in Pearl Harbour I, they had knowledge of the attack before the Japanese came)
The lots of videos of demonstrations in Iran really makes it difficult for noninvolved persons to estimate if something's true or just a fake. But comparing videos like this with Hitlers human-despising strategies of destruction is more than ignorant - it's stupidity.
Scenes like this immed. make me think of political ideologies in the USA. Here, intolerance of 1's voice is demonstr8d mostly by the left. The liberals have been known 2 slash tires, deface property, etc. They own the media here, 2, so the truth's rarely reported. The dems shove their views down the throats of every1, yet they lock chamber doors in congress 2 keep opposing views out. ACORN & wealthy dems in Hol'wood supported Obama & manufactured his election win, also similar 2 Ahmadinijad.
Hey world, Don't listen to this person. Obama's election was in fact the beginning of the revolution here in the US. Bush wanted war to boost himself up.
The rightwing are the terrorists here in the US. They shoot doctors, torture people, try to force their religious views on our laws, want profits over health and energy independence and don't get me started on the civil rights abuses that Bush perpetrated.
How many states are being investigated for voter fraud by ACORN? Good grief. The TelePrompTer in Chief is a liberal. He'll never help the Iranians in the street, b/c to investigate voter fraud would be fair play for investigating him and his "community" thieves, leeches and thugs. More importantly, the TelePrompTer doesn't like "freedom" & "liberty" as they both threaten his socialist agenda. He's another appeaser like Jimmy Carter.
Let the folks here decide who they want to listen to.
Drop the talking points. Obama shouldn't say anything about what's going on in Iran! In the past we've meddled too much in their elections as it is. You do know the Shah was put in power by us after the people democratically elected a guy we didn't like? If any kind of revolution there is to succeed, it needs to come from and by the Iranian people without the U.S. poking its nose in. If the US government sides with the protesters, it delegitimizes their cause in the eyes of their own people.
Have you been on Twitter the last 24 hours? Those marching against the Ahmadinejad regime have said Obama's silence is deafening. Where is America? The Iraqis are learning via Twitter that Americans DO support their uprising, even if the Pretender in Chief says nothing. Oh...and who was in power here in the USA in '79? I'm sure you know the peanut farmer's name.
greengecko -- '79 was when they ousted the dictator we put in place! Carter never gave in to the hostage-takers demands. It was REAGAN that made the backdoor arms deal with the Khomeni government. Oh and I've read more tweets upset about the state dept getting involved than glad for it. Even if people are glad for support from powerful entities, to be so blindly ignorant of our history with Iran is dangerous and frankly, disingenuous.
Carter demanded that the Shah step down, monlynnwit. Carter orchestrated the turnover of power to Khomeini. Carter's a nut just like his farm. He's responsible for the execution of the Shah's top military men, too. Just listen to the TelePrompTer admin in the days to come. They'll throw softballs out to Ahmadinejad to let the people have their say, let them protest, but he won't go any further. People like Carter and Barry *love* a good dictator. BUT, no matter, the US citizenry stands w/Iraqis!
You can bet your last dollar that there will never be any real investigation on ACORN. There is more evidence of ellection fraud with Obama than there was with Bush. It was all rumors of disenfranchisement and pregnant chads.
You are absolutely correct. Obama has no moral boundaries. He's all about himself and enlisting the poor, downtrodden and angry into supporting him and his agenda.
You're on drugs. I'm no right winger but the average American citizen is lead like sheep by the media. They do everything Hollywood says is the latest trendy thing to do.

Mousavi has no mob! I was an eyewitness. I live there. One of the wrecked cars in the video belongs to my mother. Invaders were chanting in support of Ahmadinejad and calling themselves Hezbollah.
I am not saying that they were genuine supporters of Ahmadinejad or Basij Militia. We will find out after we see how government treats this case. If they try to sweep it under the rug, then we can conclude it was Basij.
None of the other vandals are also proven to be genuine supporters of Mousavi.
Where are teh videos of the hundreds of buses, cars and storefronts destroyed by Mousavi's mobs? I guess that wouldn't suit egomaniac Mousavi's goal of stealing the electoin.

Horrible. They're making it harder for the residents to leave/escape. Be vigilant, watch out for each other. My prayers that the fascists don't return there. But be ready, as you well know. We won't abandon you, we won't let anyone use this as an excuse to attack your entire nation.
