  • INTO BATTLE BROTHERS

  • All, disembark. 1. Ready. 2. Ready. 3. Ready. 4. Waiting. 5. Ready. 6. Waiting. 7. Ready. 8. Ready. 9. Ready. 10, RETURN TO FORMATION!

  • thats is my favorite game at all time and always will be i remember when i was 8 years i started to play Operation Flashpoint Cold War Crisis and yeah fuck CoD they lied too much

  • Jesus! They all dead...

  • @nofrit88 ;) i've got him

  • there's a mistake. apart from everon...malden and kolgujev exist for real...yeah kolgujev near western russia and malden in micronesia so..not so close to each other...but it's not that fictional at all

  • the run and gun games are kinda getting old , the whole ARMA and OFP should come back.

    there complete masterpieces

  • @clayton99master The thing that made OPF atmosphere so special was the coloring of the game. It was all grey and dark, gave you a feeling of no hope. ArmA is too cheerful in its colors for my liking.

  • @DrHavoc1 I wouldn't say the colors are "cheerful"...I would just say more realistically vibrant.

  • @clayton99master stfu nigger and lern enlish assholer

  • @clayton99master ArmA 3 is coming

  • @Leopardipzg Nothing can ever match the original OFP though.

  • @Leopardipzg i know, just saying

  • I always salutate if i am hearing this

  • Thanks for putting the original OPF music on here. I for one have never moved on. I still love the music, the landscapes, and the game. That game game has touched my soul. This songs brings back memories and the landscapes of Everon and Malden. Anyone know if this music is available on mp3?

  • Operation Flashpoint never dies!

  • @horlur you're right ! i played operation flashpoint since i got it to this moment and i still play with it it's really great game , well ofp still the awesome game 4 ever =D

  • Cold War Rearmed 2, it's complete remake of Cold War Crisis and Resistance campaings with ARMA2's game-engine, so im especially excited for that! =)

  • And what's even better Bohemia re-released those now in ARMA X Anniverary package (also includes both ARMAs and all ARMA2 expansions), and renamed original Flashpoint and Resistance to ARMA: Cold War Assault and ARMA: Resistance (since Codemasters own the rights to name of Flashpoint) Im defiantiely going to buy that sooner or later, its now only availabe to buy digitally from their webpage, but I still hope they release physical version of it as well.

Also there is a mod on the way called

  • I miss those old school games that fit one 700 mb CD,and are worth more than those 5-6 GBs we have today..

  • Cold War Crisis, Resistance and Red Hammer the best PC games ever. When I heard this it bring back memories. :S

  • @kuznjecov Indeed fellow soldier, indeed. Well for me the best PC game, actually THE best game over all is Warcraft III, but original Flashpoint and it's expansions are still those kind of games I would give full 10/10....and believe me, in my personal list there are not many that kind of games.

And this is just brings so many great memories from almost 10 years ago....man I miss those days, and I cant even say how many times I played trough CWR and it's expansions.

  • where here disambark

  • This ist THE game making war-games playable. No WWII-shit, no political direction in any case.

The cold war, a war that didn't exist (couldn't be named as a war). A terrain that didn't exist. Just a fictional story. But everything makes sense, seems to be real, even if it's fictional - IT DOESEN'T MATTER.

    - 2 hits by a ak47 ... and you're gone

    - 300meter-sprints - you even nearly collaps

    - living as a soldier in a war you don't understand...

    THAT is what we want.

  • @ibutropfen Sometimes, 1 hit is enough, and it's not necessarily in the head.

  • Flashpoint we remember...

  • .. after a few hours you pass the mountains in the central part of kolgujev.

You feel pretty cold and hungry. but hopefully you can find some US troops in the Southernmost part of the island.

  • This song brings back memories from when i was a 8-13 year old. To be honest -I've never experienced a modern game like Call Of Duty or so who could beat Flashpoint in gameplay. I don't care if the graphics weren't that good, it was the atmosphere in the game which was awesome. This game is by far the BEST game I've ever played, and ever going to play. Nothing beats Flashpoint's epic music, editors and gameplay! I think i will re-install it now! By the way - Fuck the guy who disliked this!!!!!!!

  • @vallefradk I too played Flashpoint when I was about 13 years old...and I just cant understand the complaining that it's command menus were difficult to use...hell If I could use them easily when I was only 13, how hard it can be....

Even 10 years after it's release Operation Flashpoint:CWR (now renamed ARMA: Cold War Assault by Bohemia) along with it's expansions continues to be the BEST war-game ever made, and for me the only game that beats it in my list is Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos and TFT

  • sounds abit like jan hammer!

  • 2 -"soldier is history" 4-"T-72 is history" 5-"T-80 is history" 1-"3 report status" 1-"Oh no! 3 is down" 2-"6 is down" 2-"2 injured" 1-"2 move to soldier 6 o'clock" 1-"2 is down"

1-"They are bombarding us !!! Take cover!!!"

    1-"All move to DR2009" 4-"Roger"

    4-"4 cant get there"

  • @SWFBIRKIN thanks

  • can someone tellme how to get these soundtracks and musics i buyed the game in 2000 and music in game impressed me so much and now i would like to downloadsoundtracks but i dont know where from XD

  • @mawrow1995 its easy, check any of fan websites and download a software to unpack music files from the game its been a long time since i did it but i think softwares name was OFP Decryptor and OFP Cryptor...one was for unpacking other for packing not sure anymore though..try it

  • "Target T-72. Fire!"

    "Cannot fire..."

    Booooom!!!

    Retry End

    Btw excellent soundtrack.

  • i just re-installed the game on my laptop, ohhh man good times brings back memories. :)

"jeep doesn't start with G you meat head"

"no not jeep i mean grass"

    "grass?"

  • @Rubberduckyofdoomy haha yes, there they still alive, couple missions forward, there dead...i love the mission after montignac, so realastic..

  • @yannick0108

haha i just got to the mission i remember having a hard time with it haha i love making my own missions too :D

  • @Rubberduckyofdoomy i finished it today on veteran ( full game ) damn it was hard..ye the mission editor is even nicer, you can make the same campaign version but i lil bit diffrence, soo nice :D

  • I got the colector edition of this game and i have CD soundtrack in box. Love the music

  • I feel so old going back, memorizing how I spent my entire night trying to complete a single mission. I was there, literally.

  • One of the most memorable and nostalgia games I've ever played when I was a kid. Fuck Call Of Duty. This is a real war game.

  • fkkk so many memories playing this years agooo, just cruising in a jeep past a shitload of forrests

  • THIS IS PAPA BEAR, THE LAST EVAC FROM EVERON IS AT FIVE FORTYFIVE FOURS, OUT

  • this track brings my memories of OFP back to life

  • Brings back great memories. Was the best time of my life, and I used to play this for hours. Hardest action game I ever played, but nice story and tons of fun. I'm not playing shooters that much anymore, but if they ever make an OFP 3, in wish Bohemia is the one this time. Imho ArmA series or Dragon Rising were not as cool as the Original OFP.

  • @vespertilio260 Sadly, that's not very likely to happen, since BIS don't know the copyright for the "Operation Flashpoint" name anymore. That's why they developed their OFP sequels under a substitute title in the first place.

  • @ZemplinTemplar Damn, I meant "own", not "know". :-P :-)

  • Ahhh, I remember when "modern war" meant big tank battles in Germany and NATO and Soviet navies fighting for control over the North Atlantic....OFP is probably one of the last games to be set in a "good" era.

  • I say again.

  • bETTER DEAD THAN RED

  • I kinda feel sorry for nowadays kids which are being fed by run-and-gun-and-for-god's-sake-dont-use-brains games. We had great time with this game and sometimes we play our editor-created missions with friends even now. This game is not just a game, it's a masterpiece! :)

  • @Milanwhatever all my roomates who play call of duty fail to understand why I dont like it as much...they dont know what they missed growing up

  • @Milanwhatever oh yes i mean back in the day the online for thius game mixed with map editing..you had get a life style modes rp and wars i mean this game was a big deal when TEAMPLAY was brought into it. everybody on the game online took a part and role and they all stuck to it the pilot was a pilot nobody argued nobody shot them they then took another role. you had medics who would heal and your pilot would save you in the thick of a firefight this game...it was not a game it was a way of life

  • Everytime I hear this it takes me into the back of a 5-ton truck transporting the soldiers to their destination: A village full of hostile soldiers.

  • @Audiojackful makes me want to march

  • vodka?

  • This track reminds me from the mission where you gotta evacuate from Everon.

  • Papa Bear this is Alpha One i see a lazy, fat shilka pretty sure at grid ec45

  • im with you xd gastovski missions are cool but scary i mean the mission when u must steal the document fro the launch area..xd one question: why did NATO get of everon when we took over montignac...thx for reply

  • The best war game ever !

  • This game showed what war really was. It showed the true reality of war, unlike the call of duty rubbish which promotes war like it's something "fun" and easy to accomplish. Well it isn't guys, and that's why I reccomend people to play operation flashpoint.

Doing those missions with Gastovski ducking near Russian Tanks were scary as it is. Now Imagine the spec-ops that have to do such things in real life!!

  • @zordon9 im with you xd gastovski missions are cool but scary i mean the mission when u must steal the document fro the launch area..xd one question: why did NATO get of everon when we took over montignac...thx for reply

  • OK who here got too scared to go into the firefights and after you though you got a kill stood far behind their comrades in hope that they would do the mission with little help from you?

For everyone that think I am a pussy. I was 11, I was not ready to fight a war!

  • Soldier, we're evacuating all military personnel from Everon. We have to move to Morton. You'll be driving a truck with Alpha squad.

    ^^

That was one of my favorite missions.

  • @MulatovCocktail

Man its so many years since I heard those words... but I still remember it like it was yesterday?

  • Why good games like this dont show up anymore???

It had everything. Good story, good gameplay, humor, awesome music...

    :(

  • @Netanel17 because nowadays kids like bashing their buttons on MW2 not knowing of awesomeness

  • this soundtrack reminds me sunset and black hawk

  • i was 12 when i played this first time,my pc was fucking slow so i play it with mega lag and wish to play it normal;)

  • This probably my favourite OFP songs (one of my favourites full stop). It plays on the mission when you are evacuating the island in the trucks. The music really sets the scene. Epic.

  • greatest song here

  • Comment removed

  • i fuken looooove OFP

  • This is my favourite from the Operation Flashpoint soundtrack. Really great game, we still play it and support it and make campaigns from it and make missions from it... we will never forget this game. This song brings back so many memories as i played this in younger age...

  • @spaska12 Agreed =). It's really a shame that they dont make games like original Flashpoint these days, not even Bohemia whit ArmAs or Codemasters whit Dragon Rising for that matter. And it's just sad that arcade shooters like Modern Hypeware get all the praise these days, but you rarely hear or see anyone mention Operation Flashpoint as one of the best games of all time. Sure OFP was never intended for "casual" players, but still...I loved this game back in 2001 and I still do.

  • @Balnazzardi. Partly agreed. I love ArmA 2, it really does the trick bringing back the old flashpoint action. Codemasters sucks ass with their Fake "Operation Flashpoint" 2 Dragon Rising title, it's a disgrace for the original Flashpoint. But I think that ArmA 2 is almost as good as Flashpoint.

  • @Balnazzardi Me to. It's great game, one of the best at all times and a music is so so exelent :) :) :)

James Gastovvski is exelent. "Where is Tracker got to" lol " Keep your eyes peeld for comies" ha ha ha good old times. Have sixteenth when played this at 2001/2002 and still play it

  • Well just try Armed Assault, or even better: ArmA2 ;) Same developers, 'same' game and it's great!

  • damn i can play it over again and again and again again again again again again. it simply cant bore me =)

  • Two! board! car! eleven o'clock! Three! board! blackhawk! nine o'clock! All! engage! at will! LOL

  • ALL!

    STEALTH!!!!

  • This song is just legendary. Probably the best game soundtrack ever. It refreshes so many memories of a great game.

  • @CWiggles1989 makes me want to march and feel proud to grasp the American flag in my hands

  • god damn it... I started playing that when I was 7-8... now I'm 17 and I STILL LOVE THAT GAME! it doesn't matter how good are video textures etc. That is HISTORY/LEGEND ... that's really enjoying that game, being that David Armstrong ...

This is Armstrong, I'm lonely, come in, over . papa bear, this is alpha! come in! Damn is radio...

Last evaque from Everon is that 5:45 Hours, out!

(...) American! Nice to see you alive... You're last one on that island

<3 Love that game, god damn it!

  • All move to house one o'clock.

  • how do i add a song in mission editor

  • @yannick0108 ok you gotta make them move to a position by waypoints then go to advanced or something on the waypoints screen and look for music and click on the music you want :D

  • after motignac was the most realistic mission..thats my opinion

  • R I P Operation Flashpoind Cold War Crisis... u r the best game ever...thank you

  • Oh no 2. is down.

    This is 4. taking command.....

  • "Papa Bear to squads Alpha, Bravo, Charlie: Go! Go! Go!

  • i still play tis game lan with my bro dad friend and his bro i always play a transport chopper and come and save the day shooting bmps and stuff on this song i remember me playing this while i was 6 and it was soooo big!!!

  • All the memories... luckily I can still play it but it will never be the same.

  • This song reminds me of failed evacuation from Everon...what a great game...

  • @14Srb88 And when Sam Nichols get away from the russians prison i think

  • Meat Head!

  • Go for it, Dave!

  • that voice was so damn annoying XD

  • Best Operation Flash Point comment ever!!! LOL

  • REally original soundtrack. I love it.

  • I love this game so much and its really great to see such recent comments :)

  • "Are they gonna use nukes?"

  • Yankey leader to Papa Bear everything red is dead, dying, or running home to mom. XD

  • Sarge: WE MUST BE READY FOR ANYTHING!!!

  • One of my favorite tracks of the game. The music ment alot in this game

  • I am in the army and on my infantry course I used to play this song in my head during attacks maneouvers and attacks.

  • Get some skills with Depbo! You can extract them from game files. ;)

  • u can download the music from the cd 3

  • 0:47 best part. I've just made a mission that uses this song. It is pretty epic

  • Thanks for the comments :). I noticed some people were interested in the names of the composers, so here they are: "Ondrej Matejka", "Seventh", "Alexander Vasilyevich Alexandrov". Greetz.

  • this game makes u feel like RAMBO FIRST BLOOD PART 1.... with the song in it...

  • Everything red is dead.

  • fascist :)

  • that was quote from the game lol

  • jes that was quote 2 :D

    ww2 mod :P

  • i played this game when i was 5 my dad and my uncle always played it first time i played it was in multipalyer i drove a tank : ( i wish this game stil lhad lots of people on it

  • the first time when i saw OFP was at my brothers place, he was playing the demo, ambush mission. I was around 12 and i remember how i was blasted away by the fact that i could go anywhere and do whatever id like to do without limit. I`ve played OFP since that day till now. Great game, and the music brings out memories 8). Only 1 month left till the release of the OFP succesor Arma 2, cant wait!!!

  • Cheers mate ;). Ive played OPF heavily myself ;). Cant wait till ARMA 2 comes out, will be great fun!

  • the german version is already available, boxed and online, however they wont accept my credit card...

  • Yeh i know. But heard german version is more bugged than ours will be..

  • This is still my favourite game of all time, first played a pirated version when I was 12 in 2001, good times.. don't think i've ever been as excited over a computer game until I wrote my first script for this which put units in the back of a truck lol

  • I remember first renting OFP Elite and playing it for so many hours! I actually accidentally found out about the PC version when I was looking up cheats, then I was urged to get a PC. Man if it wasn't for OFP I wouldn't have learned about PC's and built my own gaming rig. The game is a work of art, you can't help but play it for hours. Downloading more and more addons. Creating missions and movies, or just plain screwing around.

  • I know this music is from Operation flashpoint but does anyone know who composed it?

  • could be jerry goldsmith... it sounds like rambo

  • Ondřej Matějka

  • I wonder why people like shitty mainstream massproduction games instead of really good games like OFP:CWC...

  • pc games like this never get notoriety as console games it's a shame that so many people never heard of this game the best war game ever made at my advice

  • @vaffammokk187 i agree if you truly want to get a taste of war play operation flashpoint

  • Man, this game is sooooooooo Underrated.

  • It's not underrated, it's just niche. It was critically acclaimed and loved by the majority of people who played it, but the fact is it's not a mainstream game, so a lot of people never did hear of it or play it.

They should put it on Steam, I think. It's a great experience even today, and I'd recommend it to a lot of people if they could buy it easily from Steam rather than have to search for it on eBay or Amazon.

  • United States vs. Soviet Union = best game ever. It was just an epic battle the entire time. ArmA was good and the campaign was alright but OFP had the best stuff.

  • 2 gunner get in abrams!

    roger

    3 driver get in abrams!

    3 can't get there

  • 2 Negative! Cant get there!

  • WHERE ARE YOU!?

  • i remember hearing this when you 1st in the truck on the way to that town, my god those were the days!

  • Which was quite idiotic assault when you think about it afterwards,

There is an enemy unit holding a defensive position in town. What do we do? Infantry runs in an assault line over 500 meters of clear terrain while armored vehicles drive on the road, only to be ambushed inside the city.

Gee, wonder if it had bee too much trouble to have the infantry attack them from the forest to the rigth and take advantage of tanks firepower from the distance... Oh well. Fun nevertheless...

  • sadly enough it happens all the time these days in Iraq and Afghanistan.

  • Kazlouski! You Meathead!

  • Masterpiece....just masterpiece :)

  • CHEERS HERE HERE

  • Greatest song from the greatest game of all time.

  • I REALLY loved this song! especially when it plays at sunrise in the game

  • Three, taking command, i say again, three taking command...epic

  • That happens then they get shot in the face by some ruskie

  • this is so epic, great memories

  • go go go! what do u think u are? an old lady?

  • enemy 'shpez natz' lol :D it is called spez naz but those

  • target bmp... fire!...fire!...

    no target

  • BMP is history!

Yankee leader to Papa Bear everything red is dead, dying or running home to mom XD

  • Papa Bear this is November one we have broken all of Ivan's toys over.

  • Awesome quote!

  • there are so many awsome quotes in OF..

hhmm.."and another bunch of badguys bites the dust..am i good or am i good?"

    James Gastovski FTW XD

  • I remember this : am i good or am i good ? XD
