Reality is far more complex than that, Serbs were in fact denied full citizenship in Croatia. Everyone can blame the other for what they themselves are guilty of, it comes down to culture and people really didn't want to live together. Alija wanted to create an Islamic state, I've read his declaration. Recently in "tolerent" Indonesia a Catholic Church was denied a construction permit by the government due to Muslim protests. The construction stopped, people were worshiping in the street in front of the Church, then on the mere suspicion of worship inside "thousands" of Muslims came and burned cars, and the building. It is all on the AP, they call them "fundamenatlists, and extreemists". If there were thousands it is misleading to call them extreemists, this is Islam.
This is actually in line with some if Izetbegovics writings where he said "Islam does not allow strange ideologies on its own turf". In his ideal state Muslims would have created a social hierarchy where religious identity and "citizenship" were synonymous. I've read his writings, I know what I'm talking about. Non-Muslims suffer greatly under the type of system he wanted, Serbs were within their right to seperate, and should be given independence.
I guess we are talking past one another at this point, but I made no threats ... just mentioning reality. The world is polarizing, I even feel it within myself as people become less identifiable as nationality but within a larger world wide polarization. I guess this would be the opposite of the "ummah". If Muslims attacked Serbs over the independence of R.S., would I go to help them out of a cultural affiliation ... as time goes by the likelyhood goes up.
Sharia can not exist in western civilization, it has nothing to do with being fair or democratic, one will naturally destroy the other. Reality is far more complex than that, Serbs were in fact denied full citizenship in Croatia. Everyone can blame the other for what they themselves are guilty of, it comes down to culture and people really didn't want to live together. Alija wanted to create an Islamic state, I've read his declaration. This is actually in line with some if Izetbegovics writings where he said "Islam does not allow strange ideologies on its own turf". In his ideal state Muslims would have created a social hierarchy where religious identity and "citizenship" were synonymous. I've read his writings, I know what I'm talking about. Non-Muslims suffer greatly under the type of system he wanted, Serbs were within their right to seperate, and should be given independence.

I guess we are talking past one another at this point, but I made no threats ... just mentioning reality. The world is polarizing, I even feel it within myself as people become less identifiable as nationality but within a larger world wide polarization. I guess this would be the opposite of the "ummah". If Muslims attacked Serbs over the independence of R.S., would I go to help them out of a cultural affiliation ... as time goes by the likelyhood goes up.

Sharia can not exist in western civilization, it has nothing to do with being fair or democratic, one will naturally destroy the other. In fact Izetbegovic wanted to move towards the west in order to take advantage of western ideas in regards to religious freedom to advance his cause, which is the very antithesis of what western society stands for. In the end I would say it is very dangerous for us to mix culturally, right and wrong has almost become meaningless.

Muslims need to stop running around Europe saying they will take over or there will be a blood bath, read history. I don't like it anymore than you do, and it isn't a threat to point out reality, a big part of what motivated Serbs to defend themselves what the threat of what integration into an Islamic majority society meant for them. Bosnian Muslims will go down in history as the first Europeans who trued to create an Islamic system of governance.

Funny you Muslims always want us to "look up the facts". We have eyes, we have ears we can see, we can read. I would never ever suffer any non-Muslim who did not want to live under Islamic rule the right to defend themselves.
