how long did you spin it for?,im doing the same rite now with a cement mixer i packed my tank in blankets and stuffed it in the mixer nice and tight

no liquid just the BB's for aBB GUN

The only thing I put inside the tank was the BB,s nothing else.

did you coat it after or just rinse with water, air dry and use it?

great idea ,i have done this tho i used a chain small link

then i used a product called Red-Kote

bloody tops my tank is clean and now has a smooth red cote inside and looks awesome

That is a really good idea. Ever try using Muratic Acid?

I used BB's for a BB gun, the 6000 pack. I ran it on forward for an hour then I reversed the direction for an hour. Then I took it outside and used compressed air to blow all the rust out. I had to do this several times but the tank now looks like it was sandblasted inside with hardly a speck of rust.
