@shay1992ify Poor snake? Do you say that to every piece of meat that you eat? And if you don't eat meat, then what about vegetables? They are alive, as well. The fact of the matter is that something has to die for us to live, and there is nothing cruel about what these guys are doing. The fresher the meat is, the better it is for us. No preservatives, or any additives are added.

I hear that being a vegetarian is much better for you than eating meat, although I hear that it is difficult to obtain the Omega 3 fatty acids, and complete proteins from just eating vegetables. Are you a full vegan, or an Ovo-lactian vegetarian? Meaning, do you consume dairy products, or eggs?

@elcamp3 im a lacto ovo vegetarian. I get my Omega three fatty acids from mostly beans, peanuts, and flax seed oil. as a matter of fact, beans contain all of your important amino acids. and yea after one takes the vegetable from the root when they pull it from the ground, it dies. and ur very rite about something having to die in order for us to live. us as humans are called heterotrophs because we eat things from nature. so basically, we cant make our own food

It is the same thing that people do with cows, pigs, and chickens so that we can enjoy eating meat. The only thing is, you don't have to see it happen. @elcamp3 I'm just talking about the ones left a live to be cooked alive. I saw him kill the snake first. I'm talking about that fish he left alive and put him in hot oil then let him suffer gasping for air. That's cruel and savage. it's barbaric. I've hunted and killed animals quickly, if they don't fall right off, I make it quick as possible. But I don't skin it alive or put it in hot oil alive.

@Rayvyn007 The fish died as soon as he severed the spinal cord with his final cut. All of that movement, and the gills gasping for air is just muscle reaction, similar to how we breathe, or blink our eyes, or how our heart pumps blood. It is controlled by a nerve pulse, and even if the brain is dead, the nerves in the body will continue to fire until the ATP in the muscles is used up. Similar to how a chicken's body can still move after the head has been cut off, same with the snake.

@mattandsharks There is nothing cruel, or vicious about what they are doing. People always think that movement means life, and that is only partially correct. He cut the snakes head off, killing it. He also cut through the spine of the fish, also killing it with his last cut. All of the movement is the ATP that is still within the cells.

True. But this animals arent alive when on the plate anyway, they just move because of the nerve system. The snake died a few seconds after his head was chopped off and the fish died when he was thrown into the boiled water (though the removal of his scales is a bit of torture perhaps)
