I love this song, I truly do. But I simply cannot agree w/ the line "... save the trees and kill the children..." I'm a true-blue Scot, proud and true! But we are, as we say here "all Jock Tamson's bairns". I.e. we're all created equal: the adults, the children, & most of all the helpless, defenceless animals who are so much hostages to fortune & the wickedness of human beings. And that includes the trees, and the flowers, and all the rest of nature. We mess w/ that at our peril...
