  • Пиздато!!!

  • "You've sold your soul now they want more." SICK LINE!!!!

  • i wish they wouldve made a video for the pacifist

  • Not to crazy about this song, imo a step down from new medicine.

  • YOUR NARCOTIC!

  • i love this song!!!

  • Cool.

  • why did they break up!?

  • Its a hi-atus!

  • people go out & buy their cd!! its ! of the most shnazzed out cds out there!!!

  • did this band break up?

  • yes sadly

  • damn.. their a damn good band..

  • They went on hiatus

  • i miss them

  • meh on the music video, great song, great music, great band.

  • shouldnt that equal great music video? let me guess u failedmath albert einsteen

  • not as cool as they used to be. four wall blackmail was a great album

  • I love DP. They used to be my #1, now 2 since they are no longer a band. Everytime, a friend asks "What's Dead Poetic?" I show them the new meds vid and let them listen to VICES, and they fall in love with them. I'm POed that they never got that much media attention and promotion from T&N. If they got the attention they deserved, then maybe they'd be in the recording studio right now. Since fourwall blackmail Brandon's voice has really matured into a FANTASTIC sound. God bless their souls.

  • This band had so much potential; I'm so sad that they're no longer going to make records..I loved them =[

  • same here =-[

  • @isawesome WHAT?!

  • these guys used to be screamo and i use their song new medicines for entrance music but damn this song is pretty badass so i may have a change of entrance music

  • Yeah, the only reason I even discovered this band was by playing Wrestlemania 21 at my friend's house and I was like "They have stupendous talent!"

  • these guys are borderline metal, with how the drummer plays

  • awesome song! i love it. pretty cool video 2. DP rocks!

  • These peple r cute!!

  • Umm wow ive never heard people make so many unfounded general statements in my life! man its annoying reading this crap.

There is no band, genre or any other group of people that can be judge as a whole, and I personally don't think we even have the right to judge an individual either, God is not bound by time and if someone is really messed up or just going through a rough time in his life than he knows about it, this is just another load self righteus crap.

  • Awesome video 5/5 stars

  • I ♥ This Song :)

  • i love dead poetic. i've heard they're Christian...are they??

  • Yeah.

  • yes sir, not that it changes anything, they still rock

  • they are christians in a band and were signed to a christian label but did not consider themselves as christain.

  • Great song, never seen the video till now. Just listened to the music... Always good stuff.

  • Love Dead Poetic just bought Vices and it's different then New Medicines now my next fix of DP is their self-titled debut Four Wall Blackmail pretty soon i'll have that then Greatest Hits, anyway this video is sweet love the lighter effect in the beginning. FIRE ROCKS!!!! :>

  • yeah, flyleaf is not christain n e more at all.

  • they are, they are just mainstream now

  • this is goin in captain infernos next tage!

  • heyOmayo spelled "serious" wrong but yay Dead poetic ROCKS

  • oh im sry I had no idea we where in english class.

  • dude this vid is rad!! dead poetic rocks the narr and if theres anyone out there that dissagrees with me on that you need some seriuos help!! there has not been one time that they have come on and i just wasnt in the mood for them!! they have music for every mood!! THEY ROCK!!!! I LOVE YOU DEAD POETIC!!! keep up the awesome work!!

    peace bros!!

    your fan from mac, OR

    Kailee!! = )

  • Love this song, and they are Christian. They play them on Saturday nights here on my Christian station, and they sell them in Christian music stores.

    Just my $00.02

  • Hummm......for a long time I thought that they where a heavy metal band. LOL see how much I no LOL. I think I am going to buy there CD now LOL.

  • GOSH why does everyone say stuff like this! look, Creed WAS christian they WERENT using it to make money... cuz obvoiusly lots of people hate Christian bands, if they wanted to get more money and be famous, they wouldn't have gone out and announced that they were Christian. When they publicly anounced that htey were Christian, they lost their publicity. Being Christian isn't about making moneyand getting famous...

  • For the record, Creed wasn't under a Christian label. They were under a label that combined certain ethics with music. Basically they wouldn't sing about drug trips and crap. Evanescence was on the same label and they aren't Christian at all. And Scott Stapp confessed that HE was Christian in that interview with Rolling Stone. And it affected the words he wrote.

  • Where's your source that they said they were? When Rolling Stone interviewed Scott Stapp in the late 90's, he made it clear that Creed was not a Christian band. Also, after Creed was done he mentioned that none of the band's fans ever asked the guys themselves if they were Christian or not.

  • I would have to agree with Rawk4Life.

Creed stated that they were NOT a Christian band. Just because the members were Christian (which they were) and the name has a religious tone to it, it does not mean that they were a Christian band.

  • dude you are so right!!!

  • Also, using the label "Christian rock" usually hurts the group because it provides a sense of a narrow audience.

  • THey played their songs on christian radio stations. Anyway you guys must admit their have been bands to do that. Lighthouse? their music is on Buzz Rock Ballads and they SAID they were a christian band and their music was sold in christian stores and played on christian radio stations. All I said was that I was going to look into this band before I become a fan.

  • yo bro i kno this conversations been ova 4 a min but hey i dont care lol. im not tryna drag out nything against u but i gotta tell ya MOST christian bands DONT do that. if they say their christian usually they are. the number 1 reason bein that if they were tryna scam ny1 4 money saying their christian would b dum bcauz that would cauz them 2 make ALOT less cash cauz alotta pple would automatically not listen 2 them

  • its just ive seen so many and now RED is on tour with billy talent. WTF

  • 1. dont get me wrong jus bcauz they christian doesnt mean they perfect cauz no1 iz. im sure plenty of christian bands toured with pple they shouldnt have. 2. dont kno a whole lot bout that billy talant group but they didnt sound 2 bad but again idk. 3. regardless trust me accociatin yaself with God nowadays brings in MUCH less cash in the music industry

  • I know but its become a fad to say ur christian then leave it behind. Jars of clay tried and failed. RED is trying and so far succeeding but most of them always fail. I just dont want to see it happen

  • wait, what did Jars of clay do?

  • They played as a warm up band for a couple of non-christian rock groups

  • what could they of played for some non christian rock groups that wasnt christian? .. all their songs (as far as i know) are christian

  • well like RED and everyother one b4. they say it was just inspirational and that ppl interpreted it tha way

  • well wat did Jars of Clay play?

  • idk i wasnt there but nonetheless they played some warm ups for non christian bands

  • yea i guess that sounds a lil iffy 2 sum pple but 4 1. we aint gotta unassociate ourselves wit pple jus cauz they not christians n 2. i think thats kinda a good thing. If some christian band comes in2 a place n sings 4 a buncha pple who dont kno God jus think o how many pple may b touched by their songs n possible come 2 ask God in their heart

  • people get moved by God in so many other ways. If the music doesn't work for ya then that's fine. Your right on secular/satanic music. Me listening to that music isn't gonna give me the urge to kill people or burn crosses in peoples yards. What it all comes down to is your heart.

  • musics strong n it does get inside you. Thats 1 o the reasons pple put on certain songs in certain situations, cauz music helps pple get in the mood. N why is that such a hard thing 2believe? Jesus hung out with prostitutes and thieves n it WASNT so he could steal and sex em. Jesus went in2 a place where there were alot of pple who needed 2 hear bout the love o God. If the bands hearts in the rite place their music very well could touch sum1 or open a door for them

  • Wait... relient k, skillet, flyleaf, are all bands that have toured with other non christian bands. Underoath goes to warped tour. Just cause they do that doesn't make them any less christian. They are trying to reach the lost at those concerts. Really, how many unbelievers are going to go to a christian concert as apposed to a secular one? Look into it, most christian bands are serious about Christ. That's what I've seen.

  • I really don't care. Just because you don't mention God does that make you unchristian?

Following that logic, and assuming you don't talk about Christ with every person you talk to, I'd have to assume that you're not Christian either.

It's not about what they say at concerts or who they sign record deals with, it's about the meaning and purity in their songs, and about their lifestyle. As far as I know, they're songs all still point to God, and they still live a pure lifestyle.

  • Well if the point is to evangelize to the people at the concert then they kindof have to mention God...

    When I'm evangelizing I do.

Pure lifestyle? Yes because drinking at after parties is a christian lifestyle. If you want to listen to unchristian music THATS FINE I do too. But dont call it christian if its not.

  • Yea if the point is confrontational evangelism, however evangelism comes in many different forms. Ever heard of lifestyle evangelism? That's where they share Christ through their actions only.

But does flyleaf drink after parties? I call flyleaf christian cause they are obviously christian, they're recommended by every christian magazine I get, and they're on "Gospel music Channel", played in my youth group, tour with christian and unchristian bands alike, idk what other proof I need.

  • I would say Flyleaf is a secular band, but has the music with christian lyrics, but I dont think they origaly considered themselves a Christian band.

  • the point of a conert, is intertainment, just like a movie... I doubt every movie you watch witnesses to you; unless you only watch veggie tales...

  • the witnessing aspect is like a bonus

  • I agree

  • I guess your one of those people who think Relient K is not christain either, right?

  • woah woah woah! how in the world are you going to start talking about Christian bands not following through with what they say they are and then and say a cuss word? not trying to condemn just ask. If you want people to start Christianity seriously we can't let fowl things be said by us. Please reconsider your vocabulary and be careful of what you say.

  • this song is like the story of Brittany spears. Good song tho.

  • This Is the best video. and the singer is cute and the guitar player with the striped shirt. He looks like my old teacher

  • This song ROCKS!!!

  • that was cathlick on the simpsons

what are you talking about no one picks a side with out a little bit of persentive

  • it sucks that this band wont be touring anymore. It would be awesome to hear them live.

  • Why aren't they touring anymore?

  • to be honest, I dont ever remember writing that, someone else must have used my account!

    Peace

  • They aren't trying to "convert" you... They are Christians, so they sing about life from a christian perspective. Just like unbelievers sing about life like they know it:"no meaning, all about yourself" The only difference is Christians are singing a hopeful song, instead of one that brings you down. They sing about life, while you sing about misery and aloneness.

  • ok first you don't need to bash him, and secondly not all non-Christian music is about yourself. A non-Christian band can sing a hopeful song too. The only difference in a Christian band and a non-Christian are the people in the band, what they stand for, what they sing about, and their impact on society. Apparently twakkedoutmofo doesn't see that anybody can rock out, but he doesn't need to hear an earful of it. I disagree with what he says but speak the truth in love. Peace and God bless

  • though i stick to what i said, well said.

  • lol i came in2 this conversation xtra late wow college makes me THAT busy?? Yo idk why ny1 was bashin ur comment with that thumbs up down thing but i apologize on their behalf cauz wat ur sayin is completely rite and i agree with u

  • I would have to say I agree with you 100%.

  • That was such a ridiculus response you made kutless636, you can't just jump down someones throat because they made a statement that differs from your beliefs or preferences. your never gonna get your point accross that way and it just makes you come off as oppinionated as twakkedoutmofo. he is right, they are trying to reach rockers, or at least they sould be, that is our calling as christians and our only reason for being alive. and its something that replies like yours make very difficult.

  • it's not like that at all! It's our way of telling people about Jesus. Some guys can't stand up and give a speach, but they can sing, so they witness in that way. It isn't cheap, it's just the way they spread the good news!

  • well i have no problem with christian rock. But many of these bands just say they are and then go to the world and make more money, just leaving us behind sadly. So I'm looking into this band b4 I start litsening to them

  • hey i know someone booed you for this comment but it's true and you do have a point. As far as i know about this band they are pretty solid, but ya never know. Be cautious but don't let some drive you away from the bigger picture. God bless

  • sorry but rock isnt just for atiests (even if a7x and likin park is awesome). if you dont like rock that tells the truth instead of throwing some random idiot message in ur face, then gtfo :)

  • would you condem anti-government bands for attempting to turn people against government? Kutless636 is right, they arnt trying to convert anyone. if you truely believe someting it should be reflected on every aspect of your life, so basicly, being christians, their lyrics are naturally going to reflect their beliefs.

  • Great song I hope we keep seeing christian bands like this one. It is so great to see bands that not only rock but give a message that is not only possitive but makes you think about how your living your life.

  • totally agree dude :) God bless!!!

  • Love the drummer Jesse Sprinkle. I've been in his studio- it's wicked sweet

  • demon hunter got the better deal when he left...jesse is good at drums but tim watts is a way better drummer and more cut out for their genre. just like jesse is better off here

  • sweet song

  • question i found this band on gospel music channel... are they christian rock/metal?

  • yes

  • Tooth and Nail is pretty much a Christian record label

  • exactly

  • why does everyond say that... be honest.. every single member of the band is Christian, they are under a Christian label, and they sing about life from a CHRISTIAN perspective, you don't need to be good at geometry to do teh math there.

  • awesome vid and good song :)

  • love this song. ne1 no who sings temptation come my way? i 4get.

  • the showdown

  • ya i remembered after i asked

  • gah i cant wait for the new album comin out next week

  • another great tooth and nail band to listen to!

  • love this video!

and dead poetic has announed that they DID NOT break up. they are still going strong.

  • awesome lyrics and band.

  • sick

  • i like the drums and guitar nice!:D:P the singers hair is sweet!

  • o my gosh...i love the guitar. the lead singers hair is AMAZING!!! he is so hott =)

  • they rock

  • yeah they broke up... one of them plays in the almost. I was sad to see the screaming go off the last album, still not a bad album

  • Tese guy's are SERIOUSLY talented, this song is pure genious!! espicialy the guitar intro!!!

  • awesome

  • NICE VID!!!!

  • they havent broke up they just havent done shit for a very long time i dont know why

  • they actually did break up. read the wikipedia article about them.

  • Some of the members went onto other bands. I think they did anyway.

  • They could be on temporary hiatus since their Myspace does not mention that they are officially done. Although DC Talk has not released an album together since 1998, none of the three members have said anything about the trio being done as a group completely. I believe they have at least one more album up their sleeves as a collective, even if it doesn't happen until next year or 2009.

  • Take a look at Brandons blog on their myspace for full details. They are never going to tour again, but have one more record on their contract.

  • ive seen them twice in cornerstone and 3 times on shows...i had enough..

  • ARE YOU FER REAL?! SERIOUSLY?! THEY BROKE UP!!!!!!! Someone PLEASE tell me you're kidding!

  • Their last video was better...

  • aw man! seriously, they broke up? I was just getting into their music too!

  • yeah...so sad :(

  • Sadly, they have disbanded.

  • good band

  • never heard of these guys they are good
