Awesome that you uploaded the superior director's cut! Any way you can fix the aspect ratio though? There are those of us that are kinda nitpicky about watching anything stretched :/

oh, hah, classic movie! Just watched it for the first time last year. One only has to review Daarpa's website to realize that something like this is not so far-fetched! A cautionary tale, to be sure! I'm a big sci-fi nerd, myself...
i watched this movie with a brilliant teacher and she took the segment where they flashed the cards in front of Jobe and had it slowed down frame by frame and they were all ancient Egyptian symbols. there was no reason for them to go to that extent since they flash it so quickly that you can not see them . sci fi is the way scientist relay their concepts to each other and then they sell them to you for entertainment.
thus being reborn into this great who knows we cant concieve what he becomes after that point... the sequel i never watch now will.... as the ending to this movie and the VR scenes still to this day send chills up my spine. well excuted some of the best old school VR i've seen emulated in awhile it's just and classic ending.... and really makes you think! just a total classic he was still somewhat human though before he is reborn no one knows really what or how godlike he became.
LOL let me break it down for you. Job had reached total ascension a higher being godlike status all oni present meaning he is everywhere at one time. he proves this at the end when he says.. my rebirth will be signaled by the rings of all telephones going of at once together...... job had to find a way to escape that mainframe to inject himself across the planet.. if he had not his great ascension and knowledge would be lost he had to escape he does the phones ring he is a ascended god/being...
