It's a type A V I also have it just like the mini type C. In my opinion this beats the mini type C by far... but I guess it's just personal. The gliding, corner cutting is much better on the mini type A then it is on the mini type C... but just like I said... probbably just personal.
I wouldn't call it slow, but I wouldn't call it fast. It really depends on your order and when you order it. This order was placed on 1/01/10. They were on vacation at the time, so they didn't ship out until the 7th. It arrived Today on the 19th. Give it about 3 weeks tops. My previous order was placed on 12/19/09 and it arrived on 1/07/10. That was due to the christmas rush and new years, but they are reliable and have great customer service. Free shipping and low prices. It's worth the wait.

You are correct, it is most like the AV. The edge looks rectangular, rather than square.
