Asian movies aren't scary, they're creepy as hell but I don't think there is such a thing as a scary movie...anyway I saw cello recently that one was good a few jumpy scenes and really creepy stuff....What kind of mother hides her dead daughter in a basement...and she was a baby .. cute as hell....like a little angel :(

You should watch Bedeville. It's awesome. It's Korean. Seriosuly one of the best that I've seen. I also enjoyed Three extremes Dumplings, Shutter, The red shoes, Moksori, and Cinderella. Oh, and of course the Ju-on.

@ScaryManiac Well,I've been watching scary movies since forever,so nothing is really scary to me.I always like stories that bring something a little bit different to the table,that are interesting.And i can recommend some that i like besides my list:Martyrs,Rec 1 and 2,The shadow within,Nightmare detective 1 and 2, Death of a ghost hunter,Echo,Pontypool and try the series "the walking dead"-only season 1 out so far.it's well acted.I hope you like the movies.Le me know if u need more suggestions.

Silk was acutally one of the first Asian horror movies I ever bought. It is not too scary, after my opinion, but there are some creepy ghosts, and the end felt good and really completed the story - which very few horror movies does; they usually just fade out and you don't really know anything about nether the murderer nor the victims.

Just watched Pulse and it was better than the american version because it was a deep story about loniless and alienation in the modern world brought about by technology, the ghosts trap people in misery, it's great.

@PewPewPrincessCX You can watch it at Netflix, though the second one isn't availble on "instant play". Netflix is only 8 bucks a month, so it's really cheap, and you can watch/rent all the movies you want! Or, you can watch it in an online streaming website, or download it, which I wouldn't reccomend because downloading MAY cause virus.

Btw, Three Extremes was FANTASTIC ;)

I'm currently looking for Silk, Pulse, Maid and the Whispering Corridors series (1, Voice, Wishing Stairs, Memento Mori and Blood Pledge). Found one on youtube called Gothic & Lolita Psycho, although there aren't any subtitles available for it.

The thing is I am not afraid of the movies with like people going on killing sprees like halloween or texas chainsaw massecre etc. But I wasnt afraid of the ring or unborn or bogeyman, dead silence either. The Grudge on the other hand scared the crap out of me, I still fear it sometimes. i saw "doll master" on YT and it was pretty good,i liked it ^^. the lady in the wheelchair was creepy from the beginning @__@.

You should really watch "shutter" the original,you are going to love it so much more than the original version.

Silk doesn't look scary at all. Alone by the directors of Shutter should be Number 1, that's the only movie I can't watch alone... xD Shutter is also sometimes scary, I laughed because of the ending but there are some nice shock effects... And where's Ju-on? o.o" It's THE japanese horror movie to my mind. And you really should watch Alone ("Fad" in Thai), the story of this movie is amazing.
