@maclaydreamer .... i know this they were from a while ago, but i just saw your previous comments, and i personally don't doubt your riding abilities, but the fact that you are making fun of Kelsy Bernini's, who obviously has to be a good rider to get to this level, is really unfair of you. Every rider knows that there are good and bad days of your riding career, this just didn't happen be her ^ best.

@raisin4 and for the record, i could too ride that better. i may be young, but i'm a damn good rider and considered one of the best at my barn, hence why my trainer has me train her ponies. but, i know you couldnt, because you are 16, have bad eq, and jump really small for someone who's been riding for 8 years.

I know I do not have the best eq in the world but I've gotten lots of compliments on it from various trainers and other people as well, plus I never said that I could do better, just that you couldn't. :) I'm pretty sure you don't jump 3'6, and this is a HORSE not a little pony like you ride. I don't jump big because my horse is in his teens and has arthritis, plus I can't afford regular lessons. So no, not everyone is as spoiled as you

@raisin4 Ya, I know I'm a kid, but my eq and overall riding ability have been considered good enough to allow me some pretty awesome opportunities for someone my age. so don't go about telling me that I couldn't ride that simple combination when You.Know.That.You.Can't!!!!! I kno I don't jump 3'6 and I dont ride a giant 16.2 horse, but I am just as advanced if not more thanyou. so if you're not that good, and don't take regular lessons, don't bust me, a serious rider, about this crap, comprende?

@maclaydreamer87 First of all, how do you know anything about the way I ride? The only videos I have up are from very limited, outdated clips that only show a very small amount of me actually riding. All I'm saying is you need a reality check, you have so much to learn and your cocky attitude is really annoying. The fact that you don't jump 3'6 or ride a 16.2 horse is just it. You have NO IDEA what riding this kind of course is like, so you have no right to comment that the rider did a bad job.

@raisin4 How do you know anything about how I ride???? My videos are very limited, and they are clips taken from the dead of winter when the ground is frozen solid and we're lucky to canter and jump one crossrail. In reality, I jump a lot higher, show more frequently, ride all different types and sizes of horses, and am an advanced, competitive rider than even riders who are older than me look up to! My eq looks a lot better when I'm not wearing 30 winter layers!

@maclaydreamer87 Well I don't know everything about how you ride, I never said you were a bad rider I just said that you are not at the level the girls at the MACLAY are at. Neither am I, but I probably am closer than you. And you're contradicting yourself hun, you just said you didn't jump 3'6 or ride a 16.2 hand horse. So yeah, that about settles it. No need to make excuses, who knows, maybe you'll be in the Maclay one day.

@raisin4 Just because I don't jump and show at 3'6 doesn't mean that I don't jump higher than cross-rails or ride horses sometimes instead of ponies (which I am a little too big for). It also doesn't mean that I don't know a messed-up line when I see it. Even Grand Prix riders mess up! Yes I will be, hence the username "maclaydreamer87". ;-) Sorry if I come across as cocky and rude, but I was just a little upset by the fact that you assumed just because of my videos and age that I was bad rider.

@theridergirl97 Ok you know what? I may not be at the maclay level just yet, but why is everyone jumping on me for expressing the fact that she really messed up that combination. I don't care that she made it to the finals, she proved that she didn't deserve to win because she messed up that combination. The eq is extremely detail-oriented, and riders even get knocked out of the top ten for minute mistakes. Even an untrained eye would be able to see that she messed up.

@raisin4 winky face??? really?? alright, if thats what you think. well, let's see she chipped into the first jump, got left behind, tried to extend his stride but chipped into the second, lost her leg in the air, and then chipped into the third. anyone could do better than that! clearly she doesnt know how to support her horse down a fairly simple triple. not saying that she isn't a good rider or that she doesn't have good eq but this is how they separate the great from the best at the eq finals

@maclaydreamer87 If you would actually pay attention to the video, the distance to the in fence isn't actually too bad, she could just use a little more impulsion. What really happens here is the horse is a little hesitant to take off so he does a one-legged launch over the jump, not entirely the rider's fault. From there she doesn't really have a chance to make up for it during the rest of the combo. It's a simple mistake, everyone makes mistakes, including you I'm sure.

@raisin4 umm I do pick apart these videos so that I can get inspiration to improve myself as a rider to get to that level. well I believe the whole point of the eq is to present a smooth, polished picture. even someone who didn't know anything about riding would be able to tell that she and her horse messed up there. plain and simple.

@maclaydreamer87 Then why didn't you notice that the horse took off with one leg? A trained equestrian eye would have and recognized that it was not totally the rider's fault. I really could care less about how you ride, but in your video it says you got a 3rd place out of 3, so that speaks for itself doesn't it?

@raisin4 I did notice that!!! He looked more like he was cantering over the jump than actually jumping it. I don't care if it was her fault or the horse's fault, I don't know. Still, in the eq, every rough spot in your ride is penalized because you want to have a seamless, flawless ride, which that clearly was not.

Yea that was a crappy, hot show day. Yes I do make mistakes as a rider, but I do also have great moments!!!! In fact the weekend before I cleaned out my division with 2 champions
