  • I'm sorry, could you repeat that??

  • Every genius I have ever known says "ah" a zillion times. I am used to it.

  • (Sorry for 3x ) Tip for SERGEI: Put more text on your sheets..Than you have more hints for your story. Now your story goes from left to right to up & down. After 30minutes its imposible to know what your taking about. I looked 45min and it was torture!

  • AT 42min40sec the FIRST people LEAVE the room...later 2 more follow...

  • I shouldn't have read the comments before watching the video. I only hear aaahhs...

  • Actually it's very very funny!! I've never laughed so much watching a scientific lecture.

Come on don't be too rude with the guy, I believe his "Ahhhs" are meant to be punctuation marks.

  • "ah"

  • I AM A BORAT TALKIN ABOUT STRING THEROY

  • stop sqeaking man, ur making my ears bleed... i stopped watching after 5min

  • The announcer's AHHHHHS infected Sergei

  • sounds like a retarded alien trying to talk lol get some1 speaking clear perfect english only

  • I followed ok, cool infoz!

  • uhhhh..... did anybody actually learn about anything....? new? =/

  • God is a human invention. God cannot be proved scientifically or mathematically. It's all based on logical fallacies and straw-man propositions. I choose science over ludicrous supernatural agents.

  • @FallofDarkness55 Isn't science a human invention?,,just sayin'

  • @Ashleynewyear No it's not a human invention. Science is nature. It describes all the natural phenomena that occurs in your daily life ie keeping your feet firmly on the ground, your though processes, your DNA, nuclear blasts, light from the sun, fusion deep inside the sun's core, earthquakes etc. God on the other hand has nothing to do with nature. It's just a human invention to fill in the missing pieces of science more notably cosmology. It just means that theres a lot more to be discovered.

  • @FallofDarkness55

    I couldn't agree more.

Lot's of things that happen because of religion are totally perverted.

  • Sometimes it may seem annoying , however try to understand what he is talking about , He is not a natural english speaker ! and Ignorance can be Bliss can it not!

  • String theory, multiverse, etc etc. All pablum from idiots.

God created the Universe and watches over it, and all your bullshit lies and fantasies won't change that at all.

  • @TruBlueRepublicanSue

Wow. I really hope your kidding.

  • @TruBlueRepublicanSue Creationism... lol

  • @TruBlueRepublicanSue while youre at it you can say quantum mechanics and general relativity are bullshit too. face it, you know nothing of physics. you're just a self-righteous prideful creationist. string theory isnt bullshit; it's the quest to unify quantum mechanics and general relativity. Our universe cannot be based on two different sets of laws which is why they are unifying them via string theory. Parallel universes arent bullshit either it can be explained via the uncertainty principle.

  • @TruBlueRepublicanSue who created god?

  • 1083 "ah"s

  • One of the problems with science is its definition of Life. There is no dead thing. Life is everywhere. Life is everything. The sun is a living organism. Every star is a living organism. The foggy spectacle we call perception goes unnoticed because we're too busy paying attention to everything else. That's what mainstream science is missing. We need to understand ourselves.

  • @lijit77 You're pretty dumb for a person that can spell words longer than 5 chars.

  • @Viktor18 i'm always up for a good debate. i'm not offended by your remark. i'd like you to point out what specifically in my comment made you draw that conclusion, so i can elaborate.

  • To quote Janosz from Ghostbusters 2:

"Every day I ask you, and every day you've got something else to do. Do I have bad breath or something?"

  • god i hate his accent i cant understand what he says.

  • Andy Kaufman, lol...tank u vrry much...can he do Elvis ? His mighty mouse is pretty good...

  • Wow I can't pay attention because he says "ah" too much. It's too annoying.

  • @SingleSpiral i didn't notice until I read this... the next 1:04:30 is going to be hell... thanks :P

  • @Calculusman08 lol sorry about that.

  • @SingleSpiral In another universe, no doubt, he gives the talk without the "ahs."

  • Andy Kaufman...is that you??

  • How annoying this..such an interesting topic and such a bad speaker :S

    aaah..ah..um..sdfkjhsdf..ah.ah

    0:46:57

ho ho ho (merry cristmas )

    x_x

  • @ispaniola I have about 4 Russian lecturers so I'm used to it. lol

  • @HealyPerson

    Haha ok.

I just dont understand why some people dont slow down when they have both a thick accent AND stutter a lot X_X

Anyway, I couldn´t watch it, it annoyed me too much haha

I watched Sera Cremonini from Michigan University instead.

What do you study, astrophysics in general or some specified toppic?..

  • @ispaniola He's not a bad speaker at all. He just doesn't have good english. Welcome to Physics.

  • @Calculusman08

" He's not a bad speaker at all. He just doesn't have good english"

Haha that's saying, I'm not bad at math, I only dont calculate well..lol

He IS a bad speaker, since he's talking in English and he's not communicating it clearly (not just because the accent, it's also the 'uhms' etc).

He might be an engaging wonderful speaker i his own language..but here it's horrible.

  • The multiverse has not been scientifically proven to exist. It is merely theory. Most of science is theory.

  • hahahaha aaa aa a a aa a a a aaa aa aaa aaaa aa aaa ..blabla.. aa aa aaa a a aa

  • aaa aaaaa am aaaa well aaaaa aa aaaa aaa aaaa a aaaaa aa

  • @MrCezaris : So... how's your Russian?

  • @sbergman27 I'd say it's better that your

english my friend; ) soz for the silly first

comment, I was in a bad mood that day

and haven't watched passed the 5 minute mark because of all the 'aaaa aaam aa'.

I'm sure you know your stuff but, it seems

like you would benefit from some

    English language coaching.

A shto yest tot zhe samoi seminar po

    ruskye na utube? xD

    and

  • @MrCezaris : I understand the aversion. This otherwise excellent speaker series has had more than a few really intelligent folks speaking, in their native English language, upon topics which I'd really like to hear about... who can't seem to put two words together without inserting several uhhhms and aaaahs in between.

Truth be known? I didn't get through the whole talk either.
