Those numbers are ok, but you should be hitting high 7's with a 20G turbo. I'm hitting those same numbers with a stock turbo on my 08.  what's your response time?

Thats def some good launching bro. A lot of people dont realize that with an STI its won or lost in the launch! And they arent the easiest cars to launch either! Props man....keep it up!

ok so i run 8.5 in my stock 05 sti without launching . i know with a diff driver this car would run high 7's my cousin just has a front mount and exhaust runs 7.5s to 8.0's all day

@yamahaSHO i didnt say 7's in a stock sti my best is 8.48 in the 1/8th with speed shifting its the driver you easily beat a sti with a a moderatte fast car if the driver dont know how to syncronise the gears and press in on the clutchand gas at the right timing to get a perfect shift that will launch you foward the to jerk you back

You may want to reread what you posted previously then. And there's no synchronizing of gears on a launch. You're either in 1st gear or you're not.

i ran 8.4 at stage 2 i think i coulda done better was getting wheel hop if i got a perfect run i bet id hit 7s i also have a 20g setup havent bin to track have no idea what id run now

If you're anywhere near North FL i can get you into mid- 7s easily with an hour or so of tuning or some e-tuning if u have a tactrix. ;)

Well you can't compare a VF30 WRX to an STi on any means. The STi is a ton heavier and geared for a circuit track not a straight line. A WRX can have 60-80hp less and run equal times to an STi. His 85mph is decent for a 20g....car should be in the high 7s if he romps it off the line. I bet it could use some timing or a tad more boost though. 91 octane or 93?

I run these same times with a VF30 on a 2004 wrx with supporting mods. Your car is fast but I think it should be faster.

damn..i consistenly can run these times in my stock turbo sti..i ran an 8.041 with stock clutch and just a stage 2 tune..with slightly worn tires

ya  i have a wrx and i ran this times with a vf39 turbo.1/8th. 8.0@85mph.. but im sure on the 1/4mile the 20g will pull a lot harder on taller gears

I thought I would be more impressed with the times. I watched the other vids and the car seems to rip. But I was running consistent 8.1s@85mph with just a turboback, intake and cobb stage 2 map.

i have a stage 2 wrx it goes alright its not shocking fast but its quick. does your sti have enough power to throw you back in your seat? my wrx doesnt really do that for me
