@martha368 Honestly, I haven't got a clue. I only played spore the first day it came out, comepleted the main stuff in two days, and then never played it again. Also this was on a Vista system. I think I turned most settings to max, except a few for speed issues.

You'll just have to tinker abit and see how it goes. Everything on medium looks great, and then turn some of the special effects stuff to max for extra eye candy.

It runs smooth with medium graphics, on my 1.7ghz dual core, laptop with 2gb memory runing windows 7. If you have atleast 2gb ram, i'm sure it'll run smooth at medium. but for laptops, its hit and miss, since the game doesn't offically support laptop graphics cards, I just got lucky. The best thing is to just try and see what happens. Borrow the game from a friend, heck just torrent it, if it works buy it, if not delete it.

Personally I believe in Evolution. Scientists believe in evolution because we have DNA that is genetically similar and there is evidence or at least supporting evidence that we have evolved from a common ancestor. To evolve you don't have to inbreed; to evolve all you require is isolated from the main species for a few hundred million years so that we become a sub-species. There is a 1 in 1 million chance a cell will mutate every time we breed so there. Inbreeding does not equal evolution!

NVidia.. That actually explains the graphics problems. Everyone with NVidia cards gets those graphic problems. Your cell should be semi-transparent, I believe. That's just one of the issues with NVidia. And EA does nothing. Maxis sure made an amazing game. I'm just annoyed they took out the fish/water level.

Actually, this was recorded on low graphics. When i sett everything to high graphics the water was more viscus like oil looking and the creature was transparent. So Nvidia 7300GTA card works well with the game. And yes I agree it sucks that they removed the underwater level.
