Great vid and end result. If you want to paint the midsole do you have to prep with acetone as well and would angelus paint work for the mid?

@HOAXone thanks and unfortunately there's no solid way to paint the midsole but there are some rubber adhesive paints out there that people are experimenting with.

dont you just want to put acetone on it if you want the base color?

You need to put acetone on and prep the shoe if you want the paint to stay over time. Otherwise you are just painting over the shoe's factory finish

hey , awesome vid , i have a question, do you spray the shoe with something on the finished product/shoe to keep it protected since you have to take that stuff off to paint on the shoe?

thanks. i do put a finisher on afterwards. angelus has a finisher that they sell that you wipe on the shoe or if you have an airbrush spray on. there is also krylon matte finisher that i use to spray on after painting.
