I was just sitting in the audience, in concert halls it varies on what particular place you sit, but in this case (which was in de Doelen, Rotterdam) i picked a spot in the middle of the audience, front row of that particular block so i was sitting higher than the block before me, and also a little higher than the orchestra itself
Binaural rules! Since 1881 few heard it even fewer have recorded with it. What a joke 5.1 headphones are. Where in the hell is our mono bass ear? our "middle ear"? The holeywood dopes have ruined it for all. They could put binaural on 2 tracks for us, and the fake stuff on separate channels for aliens with 5 and a half ears.
I believe binaural's true potential is in classical music, and I believe it has been extremely underused. Thank you for this wonderful piece of music recorded beautifully!
