Very hard to get the real look of this with youtube compression so contrasts will be really compromised here. As far as depth of fields as Philip explained he was using the stock fujinon lens. This was a test If you down load the cameras manuals and look at the specs I think for the price it is an incredible cam and I am a devotee to Sony. I am anxious to see what the NAB show announces for the new cams this year. I hope Sony Announces a true competitor to this cam this year

@bouchandre in the video review of the cam he does (from which this footage was shot during) I believe he does say he's using the stock Fuji lens and liked it quite a bit, just wished it had a 2X extender on it to help with shallow DOF.

Some shots were spectacular, some others were a little too contrasted for my taste, but overall a great piece of filming and editing ! Thumbs-up.

You're a master in this art Phil. Stunning shots. The most impressive is the feeling you have to choose the best positions&places to have those impressives images. Everything you capture (nature & birds in this one) seem to be acting for your camera at the precise moment you want them to... Brilliant. I guess it takes a lot of patience and a little luck but the result is "godlike".

Looks like the Elephant Seals were filmed at Ano Nuev State Beach. The lighthouse looks lie the Pigeon Point Light House. Well done !!
