Can someone please post this video without the "mix?" I'd like to watch it with the original sound without that mix beat. Great song and interesting video but feel it doesn't need a mix.
Very nice.Enjoyed the brief glimpse of John Denver at 3:18.Nobody under 30 believes me when I tell them he used to be a BIG pop star in the seventies.Proof at last!
I know what you mean about twilight visits to YouTube! I last heard this track on the radio while driving in Nevada! The word 'classic' while often over used, can be applied here. Nice work. Next up for LewisFilms, another classic penned Alan O'Day hit, Undercover Angel? I'm intrigued by the word 'horrificness' lol.
Cheers Schlupi, believe it or not i had to cut and timestretch the original audio at around 80 different points to get it in time with the new drums! I tense up everytime at certain points listening back, but this (i hope) goes unnoticed to everyone else.
Pro Tools,,I wish, I wouldn't know what to do with it LOL! My first efforts were made using a turntable, a vcr and a quick finger on a dvd recorder pause button !!!
I do use a computer now, just a cheap PC, but I'll have to reveal my program to you in private ;) I'm old school hip hop- we still cover our record labels :)
however, I will say publicy that the program I use allows me edit the waveform AND picture together, nothing new there. That's why a lot of my stuff shows repeated pictures, I like to show visualy exactly where the audio sample comes from. I'm gonna rant now...
It all started when I would take audio samples from films to use within tracks, however weeks/months later I found the audio would lose its context and be less compelling to me. It was the visual that went with the sound that gripped me. How sound can change the affect/mood of a picture and visa versa. That's how it started I suppose. rant over :)
By no means am I sorry, haha! The artistic process is just as interesting as the end result. Whatever you use, your work always turns out bloody great!
Same guy who did grease opening credits

i like the bass at the start of Undercover angel!
The "horrificness" will de the new The Incredible Torture Show project.
A campain has been set up this week called ZerodB. Artist against the use of music as torture by governments.

Yeah, man. You've got a good grip on the relationship between audio and video. It's evident in your work and makes it all the better!
