Oh man i wish i woulda had more of a heads up on this!!!! my parents own 25 undeveloped acres in the middle of a valley in tennessee. I really wanted to do some bushcrafting up there and learn a few things about more northern climates. Oh well ill just have to suck it up and wait until I have enough people gathered up to schedule a private class one of these days. Dang Dave I understand about needing/wanting to shoot video during the test but heck there's a lot of your fans like my self that don't even own a camera in this economy its hard enough just buying basic gear much less extras like a video camera. And the vast majority of your fans don't live close enough to your school to go to your classes and would really love to meet you much less get to your school. Is there a chance of you doing some classes on the west coast some time ????

Hey Dave, thanks for all the videos you do. Any suggestions on kit you would use surviving in a strictly saltwater environment? Stuff wears out and rusts pretty quickly down here.
@wildernessoutfitters Hey Dave, not to say what you've probably already thought of, but be REAL careful about traveling if by air (especially considering Iris). There's been some stories recently about them doing things to women through their pants, going after kids, etc... . Figure you may be on the road, but thought I'd say what I'd say as if we were face-to-face. You seem like a decent guy, just thought I'd give you a heads-up you may not have heard about.

Hi Dave. I have a father son campout with my 11 year old son on Feb 3 for the Boy Scouts. We will try to make a video or two with the other scouts . Just let us know if you are coming to Colorado we live near Fort Carson. Take care and hopefully we get a chance to meet up some day.

Dang Dave I understand about needing/wanting to shoot video during the test but heck there's a lot of your fans like my self that don't even own a camera in this economy its hard enough just buying basic gear much less extras like a video camera. And the vast majority of your fans don't live close enough to your school to go to your classes and would really love to meet you much less get to your school. Is there a chance of you doing some classes on the west coast some time ????

Though many of my videos are shot in the wilderness, I leave the instructional topics to you experts and focus on the visual aspects of my surroundings and the craft of just making videos. I hope you'll consider a mix of participants in your road show. In any case I wish you safe travel brother and as always, look forward to your next video.

@wildernessoutfitters Hey Dave, not to say what you've probably already thought of, but be REAL careful about traveling if by air (especially considering Iris). There's been some stories recently about them doing things to women through their pants, going after kids, etc... . Figure you may be on the road, but thought I'd say what I'd say as if we were face-to-face. You seem like a decent guy, just thought I'd give you a heads-up you may not have heard about.
