why didn't you go into the secret room in marble zone 1

On the genesis version in marble zone act one i found a glitch on th platforms that come out of the wall to where if you stand on it when it is going in you will go through the wall to a later part in the stage.

at 7:40 when that block sends you up just stay on it later it will send you again then you could just skip to the caterpillar

at 4:06 you dont have to go back and take that floating block you could just go back to the platform on the right run to the one on the left to gain speed and jump to the next room

at 1:37 jump to the left you can go through the wall and theres 4 coin boxes and one extra life

actually you don't have to follow the block

if you impulse yourself very fast you can pass that parts with three jumps

it works for me on the original genesis

On part 1:34 jump on the top left then into the left corner there is a secret there

sega really stuck to the "platforming' part of sonic with this and thanks I was having a heluva hard time with this poorly named level (WTH does it have to do with marbles anyways)
