Far Cry 2 Review - PC

great review ...i'd like to just throw in that i TRIED to play this with my 360 controller and it's an absolute nightmare.... it was just a TEST as i DO PREFER mouse$keyboard any day over the shitty controller (especially for FPSs) but i brought my PC over my g/f house and connected it to a 47 inch flat screen TV thus i wanted to sit far back and use the controller but no go.they butchered the controls for the controller ...oh well , game still rules !!!

I'm fairly sure when you inject yourself to heal up, you use morphine or another opiate/painkiller of the sort, not insulin (insulin is just for diabetics...not much help out there in a combat zone).

My bad, I just felt the need to clarify this.

You should be able to run all Ultra-High. There is only 1 Loading. That is loading your last save game when you enter the game. Then there is no loading.

I never overclock at the risk of damaging my hardware. Usually the stock speeds their set at are good enough. You will be getting 40+ FPS

Thanks for the Review I think Im gonna get it as my Arcade shooter.

Just one thing: Typical terrain for whats supposed to be African, MIXED beyond ANY REALITY. Sub-tropical trees a short way away from sub-saharan. Wish movie maker, and game makers etc would pick one goddamn climate when Africa is involved, its like having a freakin Madagascar next to Namib, Zim etc. But Ja hell its a game.

That's the thing. It IS realistic for a GAME. Not in which I'm talking about. So if your vehicle is shot up you don't get out and screw one bolt back into place and it works, life doesn't work that way. But I know where your coming from drenks. And Yes FC2 is the best of 2008 so far.
