  • Hey what are the chords you use on the melodica?

  • @filmdream19 I have the chords in the description. Am to start

  • @fenix9885 Thank you (: Saludos desde Mexico buen reggae!

  • you look like a piano player in a band i saw open for tribal seeds last year in san juan capistrano, if you are you guys were bomb

  • Is this one of the SRJC music practice rooms? I went there years ago :)

  • please, i need a chords

  • @retaco123456789 F minor to an inverted C minor. Or you can also do F minor to B flat minor

  • i like reggae music very strong in rio de janeiro in moviment

  • @jbatista603 Right on, glad you dig it. I'll trade you jui-jitsu lessons for Reggae piano lessons

  • in reggae you pay the off-beats, apart from that, very good!

  • push the tempo

  • yooo i love the way u play bro...love the reggae!!!!

  • Mean brother!

  • @fenix9885 can i please have the left hand chords to this please :)

  • @DreadLocksNatty For sure, its an F minor (F-Aflat-C) to an inverted C minor (G-C-Eflat). I think I also go from F minor to Eflat major sometimes (Eflat-G-Bflat). You can invert the chords in any way that you want, and I would recommend experimenting a bit to find the sound you like. Although I dont use this chord in this song, you can throw a Bflat Minor in there for added effect. Hope it helps!

  • @fenix9885 thank you :)

  • That was fucking radical. Do you have a background in formal music or are you self taught?

  • @BobBurnnquist No I don't have a formal background with music. I just listened a lot to Augustus Pablo, King Tubby, Burning Spear. I just played a lot, and I try to keep playing

  • nice real nice!!

  • sooo sick!

  • Awesome! try some multi track on this one and you will have a very special dub

  • do u speed up on purpose at times?

  • Naw, just dont have very good rhythm. Even though Reggae is considered a simpler form of music, the syncopation and beat is actually pretty tough. Especially if your a white guy with no sense of rhythm haha

  • Hehe yeah white people have no natural rhythm

  • i dont think that anybody has any "natural" rhythm, just certain family groups emphasize rhythm in their music a little more. I grew up listening to Roy Orbison and Elvis, so it was more about the feeling behind the music, which was mostly simple chord progressions

  • I agree, white ppl have no rhythm. lol

  • @awesomewelles90 That was racist...

  • @Anonimus1111011 shut your damn nigger hole

  • I'm white as fuck and still get them rhythms! It just takes a bit of getting used to. Fuckin grade A though

  • @fenix9885

    racist comment!

it is true that the average white person has less rhytm than black people but i think white people have more feeling for melody.. luckily there are a LOT of exceptions in both races ;)

  • very very nice!

  • no me gusto el sonido del piano...pero buena enterpretacion y buen reggae

  • nice one dude!

  • thats killer, i got a melodica in december and just used in this weekend at a camping music festival in colorado - I jammed with one of the bands and after everyone was like "what is that thing?"

  • it's got a certain charm to it, love the sound of the melodica

  • maybe you could try plaing a bassline on the piano?

  • iraaaaaaaaaaaation

  • Great :)

  • reggae? sry...sounds good...but it's too on beat...I used to have the the same problem...try having the chours on beat and the rythm off...it could seriosly help...

    gud luk

and btw other than that it's prety sweet

  • melodica is the best

    therefore...

    you are the best

    great work - 5/5

  • roots.
