@inlinesk8terchick13 They should have skates as sporting good stores. Could look up sporting goods in phone book. Not sure you would find exact skates some have them specially made.

@shalamar07 At this point she has roll line driver plates, roll line panther and mustang (I think) checkerboarded wheels and ridell boots.

why do some choose this over actual figure skating. they're so similar, is this a cheaper sport? easier?

i don't know about her, but in my case i did choose artistic roller skating over figure skating. when i came to america from brazil i had the chance to switch to ice but i prefered saying with roller. yes, it is cheaper lol, but i choose because i love my wheels xD and ice skating is more common. i wanted something more different. (but i love figure :D)

you did very good. i have only been skating for almost 2 years. just some advice on your doubles and axel: GO FOR IT! the only way i got my jumps clean was when i told myself "if i just jump i'll probably make it all the way around and then i won't be as likely to fall. and as for your spins: yes, you do need more speed going into them, but be sure to stay under control. good luck in your future competitions.

i think she needs a bit more speed going into her jumps, im a figure skater but everything is pretty much the same, and i could never land my axel until i finally picked up speed

if she doesnt go fast enough into her jumps she wont beable to land them because in that she was basicly stopping before she did the jump.
