  • Would you recommend the bugera 333xl infinium, i love bugera gear, and i need something affordable that i can tour with.

  • It's good, but can u play Smoke on the water ? :>

  • I just realized this, but that little triple bend at the end of your solo is SO Michael Amott.

  • dude what the hell vocalist really sounds like Jens from meshuggah

  • Ola, I have the Bugera 333XL. I'm trying to beef it up and give it a thicker sound. It's a pretty tight amp and the mids are a bit honky. Think an OD might help bring out a bit more low-end boom and make it more dense?

  • @Dojom1023 an OD like the Maxon or Ibanez tubescreamer makes your sound more compact and tightens the low end, so I guess it wouldn't help, maybe a compressor could do the trick

...but quite honestly I have played the 333XL and I don't think it lacks low end beef, maybe a different Cab or Guitar could help you to get a thicker sound.

  • @Dojom1023 Your best bet is to get a eq pedal and use it in you effects loop. It will let you fine tune your sound.

  • 6262 or 6260???

  • @punk4life1029 depends on whether you need seperate EQs for your crunch and clean channel (6262) or you have no problem with a shared EQ section for cunch and clean (6260)

  • @punk4life1029 the 6260 isnt good for cleans. the 6262 is

  • I was checking all your videos (almost :D) and you got some really good skills producing music...

you got some really good skills on recordings

greets from the end of the world

  • This video is a favorite on BissauBissau

  • I'm afraid of your t-shirt D:

  • Nevermind the signature guitar or socks. I want that t-shirt.

  • Do you recomend this amp to a 18 years old hardcore guy??

  • Comment removed

  • Bugera sucks.

  • I want one so bad, but I don't know where to find them in Canada :/

  • This amp sounds amazing, it looks great too. I had a 333XL which was THE SHIT ...for about 3 days, until it broke down... Pretty much sums up Bugera's.

  • @EvilPopsicleDog No just a shitty line... Every company has had them, they produced a faulty line and then they break down on people i have a bugera 6262 myself. i have it for about a half year now and still rocks! Don't judge bugera because of a faulty line...

  • @SinisterFlames I disagree. A company which sells it's customers a shitty line SHOULD be judged for making a good product badly.

  • @EvilPopsicleDog judge away man. I'l laugh at your snobbery knowing i paid 500 bucks for a brand new bugera 333xl head over a year ago that has been 100% reliable throughout gigs and band practices on a weekly basis. and oh ya- it sounds phenomenal

  • @jordanzio My snobbery? Ha! Your grasp of use of contextually correct words is appalling. Any company which makes products which notouriously are unreliable cannot be considered a good company. It seems your need to insult me is stronger than your need to present a decent argument, which alone invalidates you. Anyway, you bore me.

  • @EvilPopsicleDog You spelled 'notoriously' wrong. Trololol. Stop trying to sound smart over the internet.

  • @BCLung18 Fuck. Nevermind. I just can't stand people who can't have a debate without insulting one another

  • @EvilPopsicleDog snobbery in this context would be more of a word to say... you can not appreciate a cheap amp. and the way you talk makes it seem true. his sentence seemed to be more about saying his amp doesn't give him problems then to insult you. and reading the next thing you say, you can't stand somebody who can't leave an argument without insulting was pretty much insulting. and saying you bore me is claiming dominance, very insulting. if i said that youd feel more need to argue.

  • WHAT THE HELL YOU'RE SHIRT JUST CHANGED IT'S COLOUR!

  • Right! I am around the odd section of Youtube once again.

  • @giftbasketer2

And you are not liking it? :(

  • dude this rocks!! what are your settings for this? love it :D what cab are you using too? are u using the Bugera cab that they suggest or a different one? you can't rly say. thanks for this tho :D gonna have to get me one of these :D

  • @jamiemac5 just saw the other vid for my answer to what cab ur using.

  • @jamiemac5

Use a higher end cab, like a Peavey. This amp is more or less a clone of the 6505+, so go for a cab that goes with that.

  • @jamiemac5 how about reading the description?

  • Would you recommend this amp as a good choice for a first (non combo)amp? If so what kind of speakers would you recommend?

  • @Backadd I just replaced one of the speakers with an eminence texas heat, and even though it's not broken in yet it still sounds clearer and has better low end than the stock speaker. I'm not sure what I'm going to replace the other speaker with, possibly an eminence swamp thang. Keep on researching, call some amp companies and I'm sure they'll be happy to help.

  • this amp good for harddcore metalcore or posthardcore bands such as ofmachines ofmiceandmen? thedevilwearprada confide? amphead

  • @joshcravesheartcore

    Shouldn't be too bad.

  • I talked to the Bugera distributer in the u.s. and he didn't say it but I think they are waiting to get their new amp repair center up and going before the infiniums hit the market. I've got buddies that run guitar shops that won't carry Bugera due to there u.s. distributer not making good financially on certain returns. Jet city and egnater are dist. By the same co. I believe also. Bugera got a bad rap. Sure they had problems. But they did the best they could.

  • Pppatrickwww: my valveking had the matching cab. The power tubes would jiggle out of the sockets constantly. The cab would bottom out and vibrate bad when id use a pedal and do scooped tones. When I did run a pedal through it I couldn't get enough volume to cut through a drummer. I will admit its good for classic metal but not modern. And blues. The cleans sucked. And ill admit I never replaced the factory tubes. Like I did on my Bugera. My 1960 with a pod sounds as good as other metal amps live

  • Dude your playing is incredible. Great demo.

  • I had a peavey valveking that was the biggest piece of garbage I've ever owned. Peavey should be put out of buisiness for still building and selling them.

  • @gtarmn75 they are okay with mods but still kind of sad. Like nowhere near as good as a bugera (in sound, maybe they are more reliable), especially considering the prices..

  • Great playing man. I see you on a ass load of videos. You've got a lot of gear. I can't wait for the new 6262 infiniums to hit the u.s. market. But the one guy is right don't buy one older than fall of '09' . It was a molex connector that went to the power tube section that kept frying. Their tubes suck also. I've had my 1960 for 8 months and I crank the hell out of it at practice and live. And have had no problems. Every company makes mistakes and has problems at least bugeras making it right.

  • S'up fellow viking? Is there any specific cab you'd recommend together with this amp?

  • No booster? No effects no anything? awesome amp for this price

  • Hey man! Great video, I just bought a bugera cuz i saw this video xD

but man, i'm trying to get into your tone but it's kinda tough!

could you tell me the pres. treb, mid bass configuration u used in this video?

    thanx u!

  • Hey Ola! Have you tried the Bugera 6260?

  • Your vids are great bro!!! But they are more and more persuading me that you can get almost the same (good) tone from everything... Doesn´t matter if its worth 400 dollars or 2500 dollars :D - still sounds good as hell :D Good to know that i don´t have to spend my whole life savings to sound good :D

  • Bugera 6262 or Bugera 333?

  • @FromTheVoidd your decision. i'd take the 333, but it comes down to your likings and style. the 333 is more versatile, that's what you can tell for sure. think of the new trirec too.

  • @FromTheVoidd I like the 6260/6262 a lot more, but it depends on what you are doing. 333 has better cleans and crunch, but the 6262 has a better all out metal sound.

  • Ola is a master ! This just isn't plug your guitar in and put a mic to the cabinet either. Reliability is horrible on Bugera as well. Picked up a 6505+ on ebay for 300 with shipping, Reliable, even stands up to my ada mod using it as a power amp, without blowing up the speakers.

  • Basically, this video made me buy this amp. ;) Basically, your movies in general gave me a whole new perspective to tone, thank you for that!

  • Bageera lol

  • Did you record all the instruments as well as the singing? :o

  • Do you recomend me this amp for death metal stuff, you know, instrumental metal, high-gain lead with SD Blackout -BD

  • wtf £200 for 6262 bugera how the fuck u got it so cheap????

  • ey man that cam wich model is?

  • The Jungle Book LOL you freaking goofball

  • Did you shirt changed color or is it the weed i took again?? :))

  • @dubista047 You don't "take weed", you smoke it. ; )

  • @TheZombieRitual Well, you can also bake and eat it :3

  • @TheZombieRitual not unless you eat it..

  • @Snarizard It's magical what a Noise Suppressor or Compressor will do dude. Try out one of those and you can get rid of the buzzing. Also just keep working on dialing your tones. I have this Head and I absolutely love it!

  • @bigmacfaid how long did you have it? i know antfarm studios had some problems with one after just a couple of months. But the prize tag is just low. Im thinking of adding this to my collection, just because its cheap.

  • @AnimalRepellent I have had it for about a month. I have had no problems with it all. People always say Bugera has a bunch of problems, but you can find that with any guitar head. Every guitar head has a horror story. You just have to baby it. Treat it like your child. I recommend picking it up. People also say it is a copy of the 5150 II or 6505+. I disagree with it because the cleans are SO much better. It's lead is similar, but still different. If you want high gain....Look no further.

  • @bigmacfaid Cool. I have a Savage 120. But i will probarly invest in this as a supplement. Just to have it. If it rocks as much as the impression i have, then im surely buying it for that price. Cheap, but killer sound.

  • Hey i dont play metal. I play in a band that plays punk rock, stuff like old blink 182,Green Day ,propaghaundi, descendents, and i really like the strong palm mute of this. Is this reccommended for ony metal play or coud i get a good punk sound if i lowered the gain just a tad?

  • @TheGreendayfan29

This is pretty good for harder rock and punk from my experience. Marshall's are better suited but this is great for the price.

  • @TheGreendayfan29 This would do well for a punk sound, but you'd be better to go with something with EL34s. Have a look at Bugera's 1960. It's similar to a Marshall Plexi, which is THE punk sound. I think it's a bit cheaper too.

  • 3 people have Peavey 5150s..

  • Hey man, I love the stuff you play and your videos. I was just wondering how reliable this amp is because my buddies have been giving me shit for wanting to buy this amp. They say that Bugera amps suck. I've watched this vid and the raw one and I still love the tone. Thanks for the vids and keep them coming.

  • I fucking hate this amp. so buzzy and lacking tone.

  • Hey Ola, how much for the feared shirt and what's the minimum donation for the album? Thanks!

  • is this amp good for rock?

  • @lagiator nah, i think it's really an overtly metal amp. check out the bugera 333/333xl and 1990, those will fit you better i think.

  • @lagiator I like it for everything, but then it's the one amp I have :P

  • @lagiator It depends of which kind of rock you play. I own this amp and I really love the Crunch channel, it has enough gain for most rock and heavy rock (with hot pickups).

  • thought u hate soloing...:D

  • First off I blare your music really loud in the morning with my windows open and my speakers facing my neighbors house cause I love it. Second I want a bugera 333xl or a trirec plz do a video on one of them soon or if it would be any trouble help me decide what to get I heard some demos of the trirec and I wasnt impressed was way to muddy but that can be the mic / placement or the mix.

  • This video pretty much made up my mind about buying this amp'.

It has such a killer tone!

  • @The3rdStrikeIsOnYou don't buy an amp cause of olas videos!!! in his hands, every amp sounds absolutely killer, even the sound he got out of that line 6 spider was awesome. you can't really be sure that it will sound that perfect without bass, drums and lo-pass filter!

  • @givemeajackson - Totally not true, around 4 years ago I had a Randall RM100M and they sound exactly like his RM100M demo.

  • no effects pedal were used?

  • Comment removed

  • hi Ola! fucking awesome song!!! would you make tabs for us?? :D thanks a lot!! your band is awesome, you should tour over here in mexico!

  • maaaan ! i got the same shirt lol was a nice shirt :'-) :D

  • His shirt is magic o.o

  • Thought i'd update you Ola, just ordered this amp for £200 on ebay!

  • @RandomHyperKid congrats!

  • @fearedse hey, do you think you could a review on how much gain the Bugera v55hd head can get? I've seen some reviews on the gain but you have the highest quality videos on amps that I've seen so far, so I would appreciate it greatly. thanks

  • @RandomHyperKid hey man, i wanted to buy a bugera 6262 and ive heard alot abt how bad the build quality is with em, hows urs working our for u?

  • @moneymoney220666 Dude, i bought mine second hand, 2 years old, absolutely nothing wrong with it! They are beautiful amps especially for the price.

  • shit, ive to watch the video again ive been watching the tshirt all the time >.<

  • Hey Ola! How goes it!? Just wanted to say i really love your videos and playing! So does the Bugera 6262 have that full feel/sound when playing through it, like a peavey 6505 or similar amp? sometimes it sounds awesome on youtube. sometimes sounds a little thin. thinking about trying it. what do you think?

  • anyone noticed his shirt color change at 1:01???

  • @boggsty Did you not notice it in the whole video?

  • @boggsty I was litterally about to type that exact comment when I saw this

    Yes I saw it!

  • @boggsty his shirt color changes multiple times throughout the video

  • @boggsty yes indeed..! wtf !

  • @boggsty The shirt is changing color he entire time ;)

  • dude your tests are badass :D thank you for making a high quality video with one of these :D-

  • The sound is great but I have one question are are the drums in this songs recorded or is it a drum machine?

  • Fucking raw sound mate. Subscribed !

  • Hey dude, great sound. I'm thinking in add an Bugera 333XL to my gear. If you have an opportunity, try to do a test with that amp. Sounds good when I tried, but I want to see it in your hands. Thanks, and keep doing that shit, auhauhauhauhauha

  • Hey man is any good the Bugera 412F-BK cabinet? or what cabinet do you recommend me that is good but not much expensive? thank you man and good job with the amps! (: i wish ai could have more money :'(

Excuse my bad english i'm from México! Saludos (:

  • @h2ogunmaet it's one of the better budget cabs out there. I've played through one and it soundedd pretty good to me. I haven't done extensive testing but it's pretty decent.

  • @metalguy625 thanks man this will help me a lot! keep on rocking! /m/

  • FUCK HATERS!!!

  • BA T-shirt

  • excellent!!!

  • Great amp and song!!! Could you please make a video with the Silverblade Hellhound 20 head also?

  • good guitarists can make every amp sound at least acceptable...

    and this sounds awesome ;D

  • I know you're an alien chameleon 1:00

    haha You rock dude

  • hey man, i love the fact that your playin all these different amps, but you should post some vids of how the amps sound without all the eq

  • @teenmetalhead666 watch the playthrough vids.

  • Can you post a raw version of this?

  • Hey man, I have a question, do you think the 212 version of this amp would sound as good? because its looking like thats all I can afford hahahaha. Awesome sound, awesome playing.

  • Are those stock tubes?

  • screw the amp, where can i get the color changing shirt?

  • God damnit, where can i buy this great fucking music! That sounds INSANE!

  • am thinking of getting the bugera 6262 when i have the money would u reomend it ??

  • His shirt was changing colors near the end of the video..trippy.

  • Did you use some extra effects like a pedal effect? the sound is very worm and clean but with the force of distortion!!

  • Which recording software did you use?

  • @VoraciousBlood He uses Logic 9

  • @ScreamynDemon Thank you very much.

  • Haha dont breathe to hard. It might fall apart XD. Great sound though. Pretty much identical to the 6505. The real question is how is the clean channel on it?

  • I was thinking about getting the 6505+ or the 6534+ I just don't know how to get a good tone out them. Maybe you could show me how to tweak the sound and get a good metal tone.

  • @wrestling45 buy the 6505+ and the good tone will come trust me..

  • I think the Bugera 6262 and the Peavey 6505 sound pretty similar. What do you think? In my opionion, it sounds it great! Im just assuming that most people talk trash on it because it's not as known as peavey and the fact that the 6505 is used by the majority of metal bands out there.

  • @wrestling45 with a bit of dialing, you can make them sound exactly the same! just don't buy bugeras older than a year! they have shitty plastic transformers wich melt cause of the heat, and then the amp dies :( this happened, i was depressed for the next 3 weeks :/ bloody awesome amps for the price, and the new ones should be fine. if you want to buy one, wait for the infinium version, it's self-biasing, and you can even mix the powertubes (like 2x el34 and 2x 6L6)

  • tone reminds me of kse

  • i want this amp and your playing skills love the part at 1:05 :)

  • this song is like the style of drowing pool

  • Hey i'm pretty new with recording guitar, and I am trying to find a good amp for recording stuff that isn't crazy expensive. So I was wondering how much of the sound was messed with after the recording, or is this basically the sound from the amp when you recorded it? Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question.

  • How does the Roadster cab sound compared to other 2x12's. Does the "half opened back" thing really affect the cab? If so, for better or worse?

  • yeah i like the sound of this amp! i use it too! by the way: GREAT JOB! cheers!

  • Im sold, I love how sound this head!!

  • hey grat playing man, what did you use to record audio and video?

  • hey dude! i have a les paul (agile al 3100) and i want to know if i must up grade it with emg 81 or seymour blackout or di marzio superdisto for have a great violent sound and realy fat attack ;)

  • @democheparte

The marzio's won't fufill that roll very well, so I recommend the Blackouts, as they have a higher output than the EMGs and a more modern tone which seems to be what you're after.

  • Hey man so far all of your demos sound amazing! Of all the amps you have used which is your personal amp and which would you recommend by price point, which by sound, and which by versatility? thanks for all the wicked demos and wicked tunes from your band as well man. keep shoving the metal up peoples asses!

  • hey man, this is quite good BUT... audio is processed. I mean... it sounds like finished cd. it is a bit difficult to understand if you are really playing this head or just promoting the songs.....

  • @grantorrone thanks man. of course I'm promoting my songs, that's the whole idea with testing all these amps. you can check out my guitar recording tutorial to learn how I work.

  • @grantorrone From experience in the studio if the amp or what ever instrument sounds wank in the first place there's no amount of processing that will improve it. From how it sounds on here it seems to be an extremely good amp!

  • @grantorrone In case you're not subscribed to him, I'll tell you that he just uploaded this same thing but just with raw guitar, nothing else.

  • @grantorrone you would definitly process audio when recording it to a video. You could go with the raw input on the mic. But thats not the idea.

  • Does anyone tell you that you look like Varg Vikernes

  • Hi! Awesome music, awesome video, huge sound!! Thanks to you, I'm seriously thinking of buying a 6262, but I'll have to play with one first.

Can you tell me how you tuned this beast? (level, gain, eq,...)

    Thanks !

  • @riwaell settings in the video @ the beginning

  • i can say you pretty much have your signature tone whatever the ap you use. could you give some tips regarding eq? i mean what are the qualities you look for in your tone?

  • Nice! In thinking of getting this amp head as my first and since it's around 500-600 I think? Would the matching can go well? In not what do you recommendas a good quality cab that's nit to pricey

    Nice song btw!

  • @fearedse dude loving the vids, Im thinking about getting a burgera cant afford alot so that why Im going with them. Have you played the 333Xl is it any good and you MUST MUST!!! demo the Bugera trirec once it comes out that may be the one I want to buy. Keep the metal up man \m/

  • @JtcGuitarist Grab one. I own a 333xl, great amp, very dark and heavy. Had it for 2 years now and not one problem...and im the guy who turns it up really loud all the time and pisses the neighbors off...also check out dingle1 on youtube, he has several videos of the 333xl.

  • Hey, if I might ask. What tuning do you usually play in?

  • I heard that Bugeras are cheap copies from ENGL-amps, is this true?

  • @Snapsa100 no, they mostly copy peavey ( 333 = triple xxx, 333xl= jsx, 6260 =6505/5150, 6262 = 6505+/ 5150 II) also the copied the recto and the ac30.

  • Hello! Im from Poland i would aks you about bugera 6262 on Polish forum all ppl say that: dont buy bugera are very Emergency! All the time you must fix something its true?

  • @Paulko89 the newer bugeras are pretty faultless, the fist ones had some shitty plastic transformers wich couldn't resist the heat of the tubes.

  • @givemeajackson Thanks You for answer! But how u playing at house if bugera have 120wat? Its crazy!

  • @Paulko89 i had once a 6260, andi have to say, its not very easy to handle. you have to find the spot where your eq's start to work, and then it's bedroom volume, just doesn't sound very good. my tip is to put a volume pedal in the fx loop. so you can turn up the master without destroying your house ;D

( btw, my 6260 broke down, it was some early serie)

  • @givemeajackson If you put a volume pedal in the fx loop, you don't actually crank the tubes when the master volume is cranked. You need a true attenuator for it. Unless you mean use a volume pedal for better control, then I agree

  • @CoolKabbage just for the control. you know, the volume pot is horribe in at low volume! the eq's don't react, then if you crank it 2 millimeters, your ears fall off :/

  • @givemeajackson Ah, then you are absolutely right!

  • @CoolKabbage will get an attentuator for my blackmore anyways.

  • im assuming you used a sure sm57 for recording this?

  • I actually bought a 2x12 cab along with my rig from Bugera, not too bad at all, a lil hollow sounding, but its got good lows id say, right now im using a piece of shit Behringer VT head so cant really test a good sound with that haha...but fuck the haters give it a try and see what you think...its your best and only bet!

  • What pickups are you using Ola?

  • Freaking awesome! Wish a store around me had these out I could mess with because Im still stuck between getting a 6262 or 333xl for some low drop 7-string tunes. I didnt see a video on here with the 333xl test that didnt just try to show off doing solos when that doesnt help me I need rythm sound low and gutbusting. Any advice would help!
