This car is cheap - that's the ONLY good thing. Everything else - crap. Listen how it sounds - engine revving up like Kia Rio. You really have to think twice before you pass someone on the highway, since the car stops accelerating at around 100km/h and then starts shaking like crazy. This car is not even GM, look up "daewoo kalos" on the internet and see for yourself.
Nice try. General motors are just trying to save money by making this car. many come out of GM-DAT (Daewoo) plant and the features and safety options offered are poor, even for the low pricepoint. Here's an idea GM, copy volvo then mass manufacture it.

Yup just a Daewoo. Hate the front end looks like an Audi. Interior looks a bit low rent but it is a cheap car. Do consider the Honda Fit , Toyota Yaris and Nissan Versa.
My brother in law's brother got a company 2007 Chev Silverodo. Has on star BUT the dummies who ordered the truck didn't order the radio with a cd player so NO onstar. $30,000 truck without a Cd player !!!!
I'm very sure onstar works and I would recommend it if you travel a lot. But I can't really recommend Gm cars.
that front grill is so damn huge!! what could you ask for more from stupid GM? they did like 23043493583985th facelift on the same chasis and it still doesn't look like a shit..
I must agree that it looks out of proportion, primarily because the vehicle isn't wide enough. But they had to pretty much stick with the T400's structure because the T450 was a considered a catastrophe in Europe (re: this is a world car). Also, the front is primarily shaped this way due to new European safety regulations.
the new chevy look isn't really working for the Aveo like it is for the Malibu, I mean that big ass grille makes it look like a cross eyed cheetah, no but seriously that new gril is not working, they should definitely make that thing smaller

Current Aveo 5 is riding on the T400 platform, this one is riding on a T425.
Sedan is riding on the not-as-safe-but-safer-than-the-accent-and-Rio T450.

It's no Aztek, the engine is more efficient (Ecotec pounds Toyota's VVT-i's ass), and it comes with GM-exclusive features.
Here's hoping that it doesn't sport as much body roll as the current one.
