  • Great speech. Hilarious

  • Connecticut atheists FTW!

  • Not that that's bad. I like Connecticut.

  • @roont

I was referring to the first coming of Christ, like when "Before Christ" turned into "Anno Domini" (year of our Lord). Thats something that spoke to my brother :We`re still counting the years since the Lord Jesus was born: Hence 2011. 300 + prophesies are written about Christ in the Bible hundreds of years before He came and fulfilled them. For ex. He was born in Bethlehem in the line of king David but lived in Nazareth. He healed many, was crucified and rose again. He is coming again

  • @samsonvide0s sure he is now their are terorist porn crime at high levels but he is just running late ..right

  • @jordan5ans

Good observation man, sorry to sound pessimistic, but this world is heading down fast. the world thinks it doesn't need God... Ill tell you it certainly doesn't need Him to destroy it because its already doing a fine job of that. It does need Him to save it. God is not slack concerning His promise to come, He is rather loving.. not willing that any should perish. Im thankful He didn't come 6 years ago cause then I would have lost my chance to be saved. My Savior loves!

  • @roont

Noope. But if Spiderman was written 4000 years ago and people had guarded his ancient manuscripts with their lives until today. If Spiderman actually came back, proved it and saved the world. If today millions would be worshiping and following him having unmistakably experienced his greatness and goodness... I would say you should definetly give him a chance:) But obviously I`m not trying to push spiderism right now im just saying, please dont discredit the Bible as a recyclable.

  • Can't believe I hadn't see this yet, bro. Really cool stuff.

  • How is the Kardashev Scale? His others were pretty good.

  • @artvandelay0 Alright but his other albums are better. Just my opinion. Few Good songs.

  • @Tacoflavoredkisses25 How is Christianity not man made? It's practically a rip off from Judaism and Paganism. You feel that god decided to pull off a jay-z and say it was his creation? From a former catholic, just stop it now.

  • I think (correct me) that the reason you dont read it, nor ask the Creator to reveal Himself to you: Is fear of the potential outcome. The last thing you and others would like to do is bow down, obey, and be "wrapped up" into Truth away from which you currently live 180 degrees.

  • i have gone to catholic school+catholic college my entire life. i know the ins and outs of christianity better than anyone besides priests. there is no proof for god. the bible does not count as proof. it is a book. think about it. how much of the bible has been proven wrong? how much of it has been proven correct? none of it has been proven correct.

  • Joe, please understand that catholic doctrine and the Bible do not run paralel. I will just suggest that you read the New Testament for yourself and put God`s Word to the test. Pay attention to all the historical details and be amazed as you look them up and discover the accuracy in the list of cities, authorities, geographic topography, and the story of the Lord Jesus Christ.

"Stand still and consider the wondrous works of God"

    -Job 37:14

  • @samsonvide0s I encourage you to open your narrow minded mind up to science.

  • @samsonvide0s Why do theists always assume that atheists haven't previously read the Bible? Like it hasn't occurred to us to read cover to cover the things which we criticize?

You know what would be far more effective than telling us to read something which we dub as a book of fairy tales and superstition? Why don't you address the problems we have found and counter our arguments with a rational response rather than an appeal to faith?

  • Look Erica, Ive just come to think over the past few days that debating is definetly not the answer. When both parties are informed and convicted on the subject very rarely will one change their mind.

Nobody's omniscient, and intrinsically i believe that each and every one of us would really like to know, just what on earth we're doing here. Thats why I quoted Biblical verses, and am "wrapped up" in them. :

  • A person has to be dumb to believe in God? Really.

And I assume that you'd also agree that a person has to be intelligent to believe that we as a human race, as well as every other species came from...nothing.

Look all i'd like to suggest is that the Bible was written for a purpose that only the folks that read it will discover. It was written to expose our sin against our Creator, the righteous nature of God in judging all unrighteousness, and finaly His great mercy, that we might love Him.

  • Out of all the milions of religions that ever existed on this earth, you are so sure that your religion is right. Funny.

  • Hey thats a good point. But heres how I know Who the Creator is. I asked Him. He showed me through infalible proofs (the Lord Jesus' resurection), A So great cloud of whitnesses (All the 300 some prophesies that were written hundreds of years before being fulfilled by the Lord Jesus) and Over whelming evidence. Because I met Him and have a friendship realationship with my savior in Spirit. I encourage you to ask the Creator of the Universe to show you who He is. This is a good video:

  • Video:

The uniqueness of Christianity. J.B Nich. Jr.

  • Samson, there is no over whelming evidence. But what is true is that stories and legends similar to Noah's Ark, Moses, Tower of Babel, and even Jesus predated the time the bible says it has happened. The bible is full of holes and inconsistences. Not to mention ridiculous claims of virgin birth and rounding up all species on earth into a boat.

  • All have sinned and come short of the glory of God- Roman 3:23

The wages of sin is death, but the Gift of God is eternal Life through Jesus Christ our Lord-Romans 6:23

There is now therefore no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus"

"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God."

"If God be for us, who can be against us?"

"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?"

"Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors."-Romans 8:1,28,31,35,37

  • I feel sorry for you. Your mind is completely wrapped around this myth despite the evidence otherwise.

  • @samsonvide0s The bible is nothing more then fairytales.

  • KJV was written to control landless peasants. You're not as dumb as a 1600's peasant are you?

  • What about killing people in his name? Is that still good?

  • Greydon's my hero!

  • yah, or eddy.

  • Man, I love Grey!

  • I agree that the KJB is the best translation but it is still a mythology just like the Greek or Roman books with their gods. Each translation has been commisioned for political reason and is therefore suspect to begin with.I have read the Aramaic "Prayers for the Cosmos" and the English words are nothing like the original. Translations always loose something.

I contend that each of these "holy" books are fantasy tales set out to control our minds and bodies under which ever king decrees it.

  • I did the same thing, Greydon.I studied religion and saw the silliness of it.I questioned Priests and Pastors, read the bible and book of Mormon(am working on the Koran) this is what lead me to reason. Religiouse people feel threatened by us because we question their blind faith. They know that if they delve into it they will not believe the lies anymore. There is comfort in these lies, until you die and there is nothing. But no one can come back and tell you...the ultimate lie.

  • his ex-girlfriend is a moron.. To claim africas proverty comes from not being christian, how foolish... only 1% of the Japanese are christian and they have one of the wealthiest coutries in the world. Japan is far less christian than any African nation

  • True, but Japanese history is quite different from African history.

  • hey captain obvious. thanks for pointing that out. All these years I thought Japan and Africa had the exact same history(sarcasm). My point is still valid, you don't need christianity to have a wealthy and successful nation.

  • there's nothing wrong with my comparison once you put it in context.. His ex-gf said that africa was poor because there is/was no christianity there. that's the claim she made. I simply pointed out that Japan has almost no christian and is wealthy. Thus a society without christianity is not doomed to proverty and a society that has a lot of christianity is NOT garanteed success. His ex-gf's claim was wrong. I Hope you now understand why i made the comparison. I'll just leave it at that.

  • hey captain obvious. thanks for pointing that out. All these years I thought Japan and Africa had the exact same history(sarcasm). My point is still valid, you don't need christianity to have a wealthy and successful nation.

  • another great greydon speech

  • WOAH.

    O.o

dude... because they don't believe in Jesus??? thats sick

  • Negrito1977,

Abyssinia is the only pre-colonial African kingdom that was Christian and they were orthodox Christian. His history isn't necessarily off, it was his girlfriend who claimed that lower class African people suffered as the result of not accepting Christianity. The irony is that most Black Africans are Christian (then Muslim )and only a small amount still practice traditional African religions.

  • Awesome shit.

  • This guy is smart but his history is lacking in many ways. For example, the whole "Africa/Christianity" thing. Does he not know that Ethiopia is considered by many scholars to be the first technically "Christian Nation" and by the majority of scholars considered to be among the first 4 Christian civilizations on the planet. This is LONG before the "white man" started enslaving Africans. Do your studies pa!

  • Doesn't have shit to do with how full of shit Christianity is though. Which it is.

  • @sciencedoggy LISTEN TO HIS MUSIC BRO!

  • Holy cow, I didn't know he was the son of the Crips founder. I love his music and he's an incredibly interesting individual.

  • lol - He wasn't the son of the crips founder. He said his dad founded a crip gang, not the whole crips.

  • great speech dude

  • Very nice thanks for posting!
