On an interesting note, KFWB was and still is an actual radio station in Los Angeles. And indeed it was originally owned by Warners Bros. The call letters stood for the Five Warner Brothers.
Can you just imagine the ending in 1930's colour with all the Zigfield type costumes it realy must have been something, thanks a million, a million thanks to you.
Keeler and Jolson divorced in the late 30s and i dont think it was anything to do with Ruby and mobsters. She had had an innocent association with a certain mobster as a teen in New York in the 20s whilst dancing in night-clubs.I read she was something of an innocent and the mobster fell for her and looked after her.I think she left all that behind as soon as she wed Jolson in 1928.
@craigowler While i do believe they were class and beautiful...it certainly was not natural, what with all the makeup they put on - which was more than they do today.
He divorced her in the mid-thirties, apparently because he couldn't take Ruby's mobster associates. That says lots as Jolson was a highly disliked man in real life.

A fantsatic upload
The girls in those days were all natural beauty - unlike today's so called celebrities' pseudo accessories

Wonderful! Alice can win anyone over with her smile. And her voice was actually pretty good. It was her singing.
