  • I have a DVD of this movie, and I'm sure some of this scene is missing ... are there editied releases of this? It's a masterpiece. Enrice Irazogui who plays Jesus was imprisoned for a year's hard labour by Franco who thought this a 'communist' film. Recently they ruined some prints by colouring them!

  • @Prospro8 I seem to remember one of the Romans slap Jesus face when they put the robe on him. This was along time ago I watched it. Its all policical why they cut films with meaning.
