Although I agree about the bassline sounding 'messy' rather than 'raw', this is still a really great remix. It also doesn't have the annoying build/deliver/reset (section repetition) aspect that some of deadmau5's tracks seem to suffer from

hmmmm... i duno, not really doin it for me. The perc and drums are nice, but the bassline just sounds messy. The thing that made the original great was hecticly tight bassline.

To be honest the breakdown of the original was the main reason I remixed the song, my main goal was to take the track in a different direction...that being said I hear ya, the bassline does sounds a bit empty...lol still learning to master.
