I come from the year 2017...The next(for you) Nintendo handheld console has just been released. Its name is "Nintendo DSconnect"...

It has less power than anything already in the market(except the WiiU),it has 3D display in a haptic-technology screen(google it) and it has no buttons at all...This is what has been decided.Attachments with real buttons,will become available in 2018.

The handheld console lack a cartridge port for games.You have to send it to Nintendo to open it up,for 75$...

Maybe it might help also if they gave their systems completely new names when they came out then their wouldn't be confusion? I.E The DS franchise has been dragged on for to long, to many iterations people just think it's like a DSi or DS with garbage graphics etc, and now the Wii and the Wii "U" seriously pointless.

Truthfully we have UNTIL the 30th for confirmation from Nintendo on the TRUE date, it could just be a fluke that the screen says 30/11/2011 at 0:22 heck it could be the 24th! We simply just DON'T KNOW. I hope it's tomorrow since the rumor for today (22nd) is wrong.

Australia was confirmed to be the 22nd. We always get things before them, and this IS the UK. But since tomorrow is the 22nd, and no news yet, I am going with 28-30 for US. :/

Supposedly that was a problem so Nintendo sought to fix it. The 3DS could be confused with DS remakes like the i or XL. Kind of Nintendo's fault for making so many I guess. :P

I think that the "change the 3D to a level that suits you" and "parental lock" part of the ad also serves to qualm misconceptions regarding the 3D and using it with kids.

My uncle had read some pretty bad things regarding the system, but then he loved it when he got a chance to use mine.
