Get a 66 chevelle ss, get a radical cam shaft, take the pipes off from the heads down and rev too 9000 and u should get that,

i just bought an 01 gt and a supercharged L67 engine with a spun main bearing. Im looking to do the top end swap but am concerned about the trans not handling the power because i alos have a thrasher pulley for the blower. Did you go through ypur tranny and if not have you had any problems

Clutches slipped, fueling was jacked up and the motor went.

Well some bad things about a motified exaust is sound. Some people mostly old people hates loud cars. With a straight piped exhaust it is to loud for people on the road. I personally love the sound of a straight pipped exhaust.

Drone is really annoying, and you get drone on some aftermarket exhaust.

Having a motified exhaust gives you more power. Less flow restriction, and less back pressure. Gives you more power, and great sound.

i have a 2002 Grand Prix SE with 8.5mm MSD plug wires, race only Air intake because of filter, and 3' exhaust straight pipe with borla muffler, custom hood scoop. it has the limiter of 110 and i know it can do well more. i hit 3rd at 95mph at 3 1/2 grand. 3100 series 3.1 lt. 0 to 60 7.5 sec 0 to 100 13.7 sec. i want to up grade to 3800 supercharger and tranny. but all in all 3.1 can keep up. tough as hell.

i also have a 2000 boneville ssei with the same supercharger you've got and its pretty badass just for stock. 0-60 in under 7 seconds, which isn't amazing, but for stock, pretty good. and i've had it up to 130+ before :) still, grand prix's are f'ing awesome!

Thanks for the comments! Much appreciated. The exhaust sounds okay, I got it mostly for flow. I strongly recommend getting a high flow resonator with this kit as it is very raspy without one. Cabin noise is okay, bit of drone around 1.5-2K revs.

3.25 pulley on a l36 with no IC or cam or rockers? that thing has to be Knocking like hell, or your running 8 degrees ignition advanced. I have the same mods as you basically and run a 3.8 pulley. Interco0led Ill step down to a 3.6 maybe a 3.4

I still have to get new heads, and im doing a t56 transmission swap into my car. After im done with that im going to the dyno, hoping for at least 300hp, 380tq to the wheels. I dont see any more then maybe 400, 480 at the most. Almost bone stock I put down 150, 270.

Yes, the Pacesetter catback system is noticeable. Comes with 3 inch DP, Cat, and Full 3 inch catback. I recommend also purchasing the pacesetter headers
