I call BS on this. There's absolutely no way in hell that run could have been done on Very Hard. Firstly, I see no indication of "Very Hard" anywhere within that video; just your word at face value. I need "proof" before I will believe that run was done on Very Hard. And even then, how do we know you didn't use an "Enemy Speed Restrict" code with AR? I'm sure they exist. But I'll give you this much: Either you have some kind of bot doing that insane driving? Or you're just good at it. Kudos. :3

For some reason, I always fell off on the last turn on the last lap. First two laps? I made the turn flawlessly. Third lap? I almost always fell off. I only beat this chapter once and that was on normal difficulty.

Chapter 9 on Very Hard is pure brutal. I got very lucky of beating it the first time on Very Hard difficulty, and makes me become an F-Zero god.

I love F-Zero GX, it's so hard but once you beat one of the crazy very hard chapters you go crazy!

I still don't know how I managed to beat this... I guess it was after the point that I realized that I can boost all my enery off, because there isn't anything that could touch and kill me.

And now I love the phantom tracks! :D

So I've been itching to drive a taxi at over 1000 km/h lately and was just wondering: - Did you do this run on Max Speed? - And if so, how in the world did you make those turns so damn flawlessly in order to stay ahead of Phantom Falcon so steadily? Because whenever I try this on Max Speed I can barely get halfway into the first serious curve without falling off!

@8DXD8 I play all my non-snake runs 100% Max Speed. Are you using Quick Turns? I only use quick turns and MTS. I'm not sure how familiar with the terms you are.

This is still way too hard for me (just like chapter 8 and 7 on very hard) I was able to beat all of them except for the last three on very hard. I have SO much trouble staying ahead of the ghost. How do you stay ahead? (Especially on the first lap, please note that I cannot use that shortcut you did)

I have since I watched this. It helps me get to speed with him, but I only pass him by a little bit.

By the time I'm on the second lap, he's already boosting.

I even figured out that shortcut, but it doesn't help much . . .

I found mastering the course was actually harder then the ghost itself.

Getting ahead of the Phantom Falcon was the easy part...the hard part for me was staying ON the track while taking those completely mental corners!

It took me 3 attempts to get around the third bend without coming off! I was totally unprepared for how crazy the track would be...its like Rainbow Road on speed!

man, this was the goal of my life at the time, i spent well over 200 hours beating it. this game is so unforgivingly brutal in its difficulty that it will remain one of the best games of the Gamecube.
