I =f you look on the back of the box that the game comes in the car will say mach "5". On the front it will say mach "6". This was a pretty crazy discovery. It was stupid that they put "5" on the back and "6" on the front!

In the movie, the Mach 5 is the rally car and the mach 6 is the t-180, the car he drives on circuits.

The reason for this is that the t-180 wheel axle is different then the standard wheel axle in the fact that it can turn 180 degrees quickly. If you notice in the movie, At Thunderhead and the Grand Prix, even at Fuji I believe, Speed's driving the mach 6. Its then blown up in Fuji and during the Casa Cristo he drives the mach five. A normal wheel axel car like everyone else. :P

I should know, I've played Mario Kart Wii at a best buy at the same time I got the movie on DVD and I have to say I agree with ROFLtrooper.

you can use the wii wheel because you hold the remote like you would in mario kart wii and you can do flips and control them so its very controlable in the air when doing tricks the ds version is good as well

I'll agree the game looks badly done (the steering looks hard as hell to do and annoying), theres no background music, theres no need for the characters to talk every two second and it just doesn't look like any skill is needed at all to complete this game, that and the cars look sluggishly slow. This game got bad reviews.

This game is great, you can turn off the annoying voices, there is music, the cars handle perfectly and the game moves extremely fast. It is also extremely hard in the higher classes, this video does a very bad job off showing off the game.

the reason the cars are sideways but still moving forward is cause the wheels of the car can move 360 degrees. thats gonna be cool cause u can spin to attack but without losing speed. u could also use that feature for blocking.
