@SixGunBanger depends on your preferences, if you want that vinyl feel ns7 is the way to go especially if you mix hip hop & scratch alot, if u want a little more portability, rarely scratch, the s4 would do mostly for house/trance. Both have their pros cons. Dynamic platters or static platters, serato or traktor, 2 channels vs 4. You can also go with the NS6 its native with serato itch. Its also supported by cue (vdj) & traktor pro 2 I believe.

lol the reason why most dj's prefer vinyl is because the timing is built into the record... so if you're letting like a 2 bar loop play you can spin backwards two full rotations and be where you supposed to be at. my homeboy is a reggae dj, no headphones.

could go with any of those it depends on if you are gonna be mobile or not but i would recommend a notebook due to price and problems with the ns7 drivers and just make sure that you get one with the 32 bit operating system or it will NOT work!

I was having the same problem you are having. I called numark and they told me to update to the new itch version on the website and to set me latency settings to 20. Make sure your music is in wav form , (not mp4 or wmp) .Also make sure you turn off your wireless and shut down any open sites on your computer. Try that and see what happen. I have a 32 bit hp laptop , and i was having problems , but after i tried that everything was o.k . Hope it help , if u still need help. HOLLA 1

There are some glitches sometimes.. but all i can say is keep your wifi off when your using this and also let the NS7 Be the only thing running when your doing a show. cause it eats up the USB POWER...
