Well yes, to some extent Pendulum has gone more mainstream. Vault and every track on hold your colour captivated ears everywhere. But after that, they decided to head on to the more dance oriented side. That's when they lost most of what they really were, which was more ambient and distorted elements that defined them from everybody else and from any other sound. The Submarines remix is a great example. I mean c'mon, who doesn't like or love that beginning or interlude kind of parts?

They do NOW, they used to do so much DnB. Pendulum remixes are often regarded as better than originals too, obviously it's a matter of opinion if the remixes are better but they still do a fucking good job. They still have hints of DnB left in them, Salt in the Wounds (off Immersion) is DnB, Immunize is DnB too. I hope they do a bit more DnB again because they're amazing at it. Plus, Rob Swire has a good voice. And he does good Dubstep.
