In my opinion, it's better that Denzel Washington should play the Robert McCall role than Russell Crowe. McCall's character is deeper than the usual action hero who simply relies on muscle or firepower to get the job done so whoever takes his role should be able to act aside from being able to do stunts.

The intro reflects the dark nature of human society and shows people in vulnerable situations, exactly what the show was about.
