Can anyone please tell me what type of synth is used that comes in at the 30 second mark? I'm like obsessed with that synth line haha reminds me of boc. Awesome music.
In my opinion, it's better that Denzel Washington should play the Robert McCall role than Russell Crowe. McCall's character is deeper than the usual action hero who simply relies on muscle or firepower to get the job done so whoever takes his role should be able to act aside from being able to do stunts.

@Plastitute That's what i thought the show was about. But, but to be fare, i only saw one episode on Spike a very long while back that was about rapists and a guy trying to hunt down his wife's rapists.
@Plastitute The show is about a vigilante helping the vulnerable, but in a slightly less violent way than Charles Bronson's "Death Wish" series of films. The intro reflects the dark nature of human society and shows people in vulnerable situations, exactly what the show was about. VERY good TV series....no doubt someday (if it hasn't been done already) some typical shit "money maker" hollywood re-make will be done.
@Plastitute How do you get that?..... The intro is to make youll that if you are in that situation that the equalizer will help - or - Equalize. What did you expect? an intro with tanned blonde dumbfucks screaming oh noes he stole my purse?? Sorry but go back to watching scripted bollox like Towie or Jerseyshoregonnathrowupwatchingthis.

One day they'll remake this as a movie but sadly screw it up.They'll get someone like Russel Crowe who is now gray and older looking to play the part.Nothing against Mr Crowe but even older he still looks like a dangerous man. What made this so great was that Edward Woodward didn't look like the dangerous character he was playing. He looked like your English teacher in high school, not the dangerous ex gov't spy guy.Which is what made him so much dangerous.

@misskoutsofta I was toooo!!! OOps, Im telling my age LOL. That was the damn show. I remember what I was doing and where I lived as a little one. Time flies. 80's era is gone, but I think my next birthday party will be 80's themed. Music and clothes. Good ole days, good times. I get the damn chills when I think about the days back then. When you could play in the neighborhood and everyone watched out for each others kids. Now your neighbor may kill you and your kids and bury you under the floor.

The 80's was the most epic decade ever. I spent my first ten years of my life there and I miss it so damn much. This series was my first action series I've seen. I used to sit up WAS past bedtime. I didn't speak english then but my mom read the subtitles out load to me because I could never miss an episode.
I used to love watching this, never used to miss an episode. Edward Woodward was like so made for this show. It's too bad they don't make them like this anymore. I used to wait for the intro to start and jamm this on the t.v. Long Live the Equalizer!

Robert McCall was the most badass British agent that ever lived.
He would make James Bond cry like a little bitch.
