  • this ,remember was 1981,back then was the dark ages, most people still had coal fires and no electriconly gas televisions

  • all except the two men lift the hands correctly

  • @MAGICMANCARLOS they lifted their hands correctly. the guy never said to raise their hands above their head or anything. He only said to move their finger and to lift one hand off the table and then the other, and everyone did just that. He never said their wrists couldn't touch the table.

But they did move their hands different than everyone else, they are behind this, but they did lift their hands correctly.

  • during 1:58 you can basically see in a frozen picture that the man in the suit lifted his entire hands off therefore making the table fall. look at it yourself and you can see they (the suited men) are behind this magic trick.... sorry for spoiling the video for those who haven't seen this yet... :D

  • okay that was easy to spot.. the two men with sleeves are hooked to the table when he ask em to lift their hands look how em two dosnt really lift it? and watch how the sleeves are tight and not loosely on their arms... bah.. thats a good trick at a kids birthday or somethin..

  • Yup! ...it´s definitely the two guys in the suits. They never lift their hands anywhere near as high as the others...

  • 054: through 0:57, you can see the old man on the left completely leaves the table with his hands.

  • aha

  • When he kept saying Faster I thought the people would fly away with the table. Lol

  • yea if u watch the guys in the suits they never lift there hands completely of the table till the end.

  • fking reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet

  • u know the biggest liar of the lot is his son, when he says he has been trying to find out how this trick is done for ages....now its either that people on youtube r too fuckin smart that they figured it out, or his son is too fucking dumb for his own good...

  • Weak.

  • Painfully obvious. Even at first viewing.

  • I think it has to do with magnets n stuff

  • What I like best are the other Magicians who appear in the videos. They obviously know most of the tricks they claim not to know, but prefer not to reveal them. Magic is an art, to be revealed only to the ones who are serious about them. Val Valentino anyone? Heh!

  • Easily done. The two men in suits have little things in their sleeves then let them hold on. Notice the way they hold up their hands with their wrists still on the table, and when it falls they both run away from it.

  • ha! ha! old trick!!!!!

the two man with with the coat, across from each other, have a bar goining throw their jakets, connecting with each other!

    i've done this trick also!

  • *Spoiler Alert* The men in business suits have something strapped around their wrists, which has a metal skewer type object which goes under the table so that when they lift their arms the table lifts with them .

  • The suit guys wrists were contantly on the table

  • guess what guys your wrong about how it's done. no steam no guy righ in front of camera. after seeing this trick 100 times in a row I know. Plus it's not that hard to do.

  • I think I know how it's done.

  • I know how this is done!

    Its really simple

  • very simple really... that steam sound that you hears its nothing but a air compressor on the ground ... the power of the steam lifts the table and when those people almost let the table fall... its fake... the steam machine is controlled by 1 guy backstage

  • That would be almost impossible.. The air would have to go so fast that the people would either feel it, or the machine would be WAY to loud!

  • @radeakins

you are right! i think i can see the guy whos standing with tha back to the camera, putting the table down, when they all leave both hands!

  • @radeakins thats a really good observation...

  • notice how at 0:53 the old guy on the left lifts his fingers off the table as everyone elses stay on, he must have felt like a total moron.

  • yea , was not that impressed really , i dont even follow magic and i saw this pretty easy

  • lol ya the two guys in suits when they "lift both hands"

  • Wow that's so obvious when they lift both hands... quite unprofessional really

  • The two guys in the suits are in on the act. They have clamps hidden in their sleeves. Everything they do, the table does.

  • Agreed.

  • Its sneaky but clever.

  • you got a good eye, how the fuck did you see that??

  • Just a little observation. The two guys in the suits are opposite each other so they are in the best position to lift the table, they are the only two that are wearing anything with long sleeves and their wrists are in constant contact with the table at all times while everyone else are only touching the table with their finger tips. When the table is dropped, the guy in the grey moves the away from the camera and the other hides his hands from the camera as well as tugging at his sleeves.

  • @radeakins were about to say that, but you got here first :P

  • Comment removed

  • So cheesy.....

  • maybe its just real magic?

  • ur dumb and naby goku will save the earth from frieza again

  • to jetibest:

theirs WRISTS never leave the table, not their hands :P lol

  • yes i meant to say that:P but i forgot that word so i thought u would understand what im saying:P

oh and im not suffering from a rare disease that i forgot that word, its just the fact im not english;-)

  • XD quite a rare disease that is lol. yeah i got you, im not english either.

  • When they all lift both hands and he says put them back, the guy in the gray suit puts them back before he says.

  • The guy on the table nearest the camera with black suit n hair has the table connected to his wrist. you can see when he lifts his hands he doesnt lift them far and when they lift both hands he pulls it down.

  • hey, i remember derren brown doing this in his show.

  • this trick is done completely differently from the way derren does it

  • at 1:15..guy on the right hand side..some1 please teach a different between right or left..

    lol..

  • hahaha i saw that too. was like -_-....watta douche lol.

    cool illusion

  • nope thats not how the illusionis done because when he went back to his seat he rolled his sleaves up is you have the origanal video

  • you know when the comedians speak, like on 0.38, well does he actually not know how it is done? or is he just saying that to fool us aswell

  • they're holding it with their pen0r

  • seems only explanation left, hm?

let us just enjoy this stuff.. and if you will, enjoy imaging they held it with their cocks.. :)

  • isnt it obvious? the 2 men in the suits have something in their sleeves that goes under the table to lift it up. you can tell by the way they lift their hands.

  • cant you just enjoy the magic instad of reaviling it..?

  • Sure. as long as its a good magic trick. If you can see how they're doing it after watching it one time then i don't think its a good trick imo.

  • the thing is, in magic, you're not supposed to see the trick more than once. ;P

  • They're also the only people with that long sleeves

  • @CoreyTheStory well obvious when he says lift your hands they just move thier wrist lol FAIL

  • @CoreyTheStory The thing is that doesn't matter. It's not how it's done it's the performance and cheering people up.

  • David Berglas is a fascinating man

  • The guys with suits have bars that go from in there sleeves to under the table. There wrists never leave the table, only their hands.

  • at :55 , you can clearly see that the old gentleman on the left, between the old ladies, as completely taken his hands of the table.... lol otherwise great trick. also

YOU FAGS STOP DEBUNKING THE TRICKS, THEY ARE MEANT FOR ENTERTAINMENT ONLY. I AM AT THIS MOMENT, ENTERTAINED. DON'T RUIN IT, JACKASSES

  • LMAO

  • at :11 you see that the man wearing the black suit positions his hands on the table and it looks weird and it is obvious that he is hiding something... so there you go... case closed

  • "very cool" ^_^

  • the man with the suit that u can see has 2 metal bars on his arms and at 1:14 he never actualy lifts up any of his arms and he the first one to put them back downon the table

  • good observation mate... also did you notice that there were two guys wearing suits? and exactly on the opposite of one another... and the way ther lift their hands, they down exactly lift it... so there you go...

  • great illusion really, almost everyone isnt wearing sleeves but the 2 gentlement conveniently sitting at opposite ends of the table wearing suits with sleeves down.

pretty self explanatory from that point onwards but marvalous trick, so so effective

  • Yep, They even knew what to do, Them two were the best two preformers and looked like they were doing the same thing

  • it's nice to have some people hainv the same thoughts as me, I think about that theory since he said "lift your both hands", every one lifted their both hands far away from the table, but those 2 men just move their palm a few centimeters away. Obviously they knew the table will fall immediately, I think there's something sticked to their thumb to help hold the tabel, sorry for bad english

  • lolz fake...

  • FAIL! at the old man on the left (the one with glasses) at 0:53, he lifts his hands from the table... >_>

    But cool trick.

  • i think i may know how but i have never seen this live.

from what i can see this trick should be a LOT higher in the top 50. the effect is awesome

  • what the hell?? i was watching my beloved simon from american idol and then there was a floating table!!

what does this have to do with simon?......i guess that is just some of the beauty of youtube.....so many weird links to random things.

  • The two men with jackets at the opposite sides of the table are aren't randomly picked or seated. They have a stick in their both sleeves. At first they just hide them under their palms and then they stick them under the table and lift the table together. You can't see them lifting their wrists at any point like everyone else is doing.

  • Since when did magic become about trying to figure it out or proove its a fake? JUST ENJOY THE GODDAMN SHOW YOU 'TARDS.

  • Hell yea Man!!!! thats wat i said!!!!!

  • HINT:its heavier than it looks.

  • wait I still don't get it!

  • Is that the Losander floating table anyone??? I have seen the losander floating table performed live!

  • this is usually how all great tricks are done...with someone who is in on it and just the magicians helper

  • always a stooge

  • not all ways...when i perform i do my best to not use stoogest 99.9 percent of da time. altho alot of wat i do can be done with stooges i find ways to not use dem

  • agreed with my thumbs down. why would i say that!?

  • copperfield stole this trick, but whenever copperfield steals a trick he performs it so well that no magician can do it better than him.

  • Copperfield didn't steal it, he purchased the performing rights.

  • YEAH...HE EVEN ADDED THE TABLE CLOTH

  • as stupid as you, fool. the funny thing is that it is easier to deceive a more intelligent person than a less. so think about it einstein.

  • The guy with the grey suit is the stooge.

His fingers aren't arched, and his hand doesn't lift up all the way.

And look what happends when he "lifts" both hands.

  • some of those people don't know which is their right hand

  • There is a stooge involved

  • There is. The guy in the grey suit is the "stooge". This was shown on "The World's Biggest Magic Tricks Finally Revealed".

Under that guy's arms, there are metal rods that slide into a hole in the table that secures it in able to lift it off the ground.

  • JamieCleaton1 is correct, that would be the most likely way they did it.

Another way would be wires, but that would be needlessly difficult.

And stop bitching about people revealing magic tricks, myself and many others love figuring out how they are done. If you don't want to know then don't read the comments (what else are people going to say other than 'good trick')

  • Ryausub makes a pretty good point...

Although there could always be a warning, like when sites put up information that could have spoilers for movies or books?

  • the magic is that u dont know who its done ;I

    greetz

  • Great video. Thank you for the video's of old masters of magic

  • the guy in the grey suit and the guy in the blue suit have something up thier sleeves which goes under the table to pick it up

  • shut the fuck up, its a great trick, we spoiled it?

  • omg did you not know.......magics not real......aww sorry to spoil it for you.....

  • God is real? no.. do you saw him? heard him? no.. don't be ignorant, it is an illusion, but its fun to believe

  • .............o.....k.....

  • oh dude never never tell the secret the secret is nothing ok it impresses nobody ..never do it again.

    please

  • i wont but do it again, but how the hell can ppl STILL think magic is real! do you still believe in santa aswell? think some people just need to take a step back and realise.....its just 'showbiz'

  • Hey! I was thinking the exact same thing :D
