Hello, what is the different between a htc wildfire and a wildfire g8? or is it the same?

i have just chande the digitizer on my htc wildfire, during this i have pull the volume button off the motherboard, do you know anyway i can get it working again as now it dosent work.

@TheCalumboy nope that is it .. its gone the only way to get it back is either get a new phone or new motherboard ( if you could find one ) i would recommend ebay for cheep spare parts .. i say a crackd htc wildfire on it for like 25 pounds you can take the motherboard of tht and put it on ;)

I dropped my phone I the toilet a few days ago,I kept it in a bowl of rice for two days and it got out the fog, hoowever there is still water inside of the screen will disambling it allow me to wipe out the water? Besides the water spots n my phone everything else works perfectly,thankks in advance.

Hey. I have a Wildfire S and the repair company replaced the digitiser. His repair notes are "Replaced the digitiser, however phone not detecting input Problem within mainboard"

Any ideas? As I wouldn't expect it to be the mainboard being broken.

I had orig dropped the phone and smashed the screen, but it was working before that

But what I am looking for exactly ?I opened the pda but this is all what´s on the flex cable TM1644 001 TB 0380304 940·915·01 Rev1 . I have the htc wildfire A3333 I will trully apreciate any responce . Can you tell from this numbers if I need a IC digitalizer or a Non IC one .I looking forward to get a response on this .

Hi , you need to open and dissembly the pda, and you can find the answer on the flex cable on the touch screen

They are different. they are not compatitble.

therefore you need to open and find out if there is any IC ( very small component) on the Touch Screen Flex cable

do you no what i would need to replace to get signal back my phone was dropped in water but dried it out and has worked for months then lost signal then reheated it and it back on done this a few time but this time its been 2 days and this time no signal everthing else works just no signal

Followed these instructions and succesfully replaced my lcd display on my HTC Wildfire G8 A3333
