Sweet sassy molassy. Saw her live at the JC she attended (in Hayward, CA). It was all jazz tunes and knows how to put on a damn good show. Normally I don't like scat, but she really shows how her voice is an instrument just like the ones played by the big band. I had shivers and chills for WEEKS!! Hooray for raw, uninhibited talent!!

Ledisi is off the chain. She can sing for me any day of the week, along with a few others. She is very sweet. Went to see her in NY, and was part of a greet and meet group, but five if us had to get back home to Philly while she was caught up back stage. Ledisi is a GREAT, great vocalist and artist, but her sound and style are not all that uncommon.

Lizz Wright however, is another story. When she sings, God blushes.
