yea bro all i did wrong when i first did it was not check the 2 buttons to make it open, and i had a static ip so i had to write over those setting in order for it to work.

This works for me; however, my NAT setting is always closed and so my online play is effected. I try to open the proper ports on my modem (Thomson), however, I can't assign those ports with my Xbox as the device as the network does not FIND my Xbox and so it isn't even on the list of devices. Help?

if you are doing it through your laptop sorry guys it dont work, you are still using a router that connects to your laptop and then if you hook up your xbox to your laptop, you will not get the speeds and you will be lagging when you are online, so roughly this will not work. just plug it straight or go through the router.

You can just bridge your xbox and wireless connection together and it work perfectly, but you can't have sharing enables

I run "Test Xbox Live Connection", and then it is theese. xbox - network - internet - xbox live, and it stops on network... it's kinda like it isn't there, also when u showed the "Network and sharingcenter" then i have 2 local connections, one has a X on it. @TheBoneman536 I'll give you a step by step instruction..... 1) connect to xbox live 2) click into the game 3) while in the game click the xbox guide button (the xbox button in the middle of the controller 4) click into 'Chat and IM' 5) you'll see a bunch of chatting options, click into the icon where it says to chat with the game.... the should be an icon of the game on it. 6) that's it!!!
