Why have the Mach 1's been so overlooked ? I've never owned a 'Stang but my friend did own the 265 horse 01' Bullitt and it was quick as hell. But I always liked the sleeper Mach 1's becuz they were more affordable and had 300+ HP and yet I hardly ever saw 'em. Yes, I was looking for 'em but I lie the fact that they're not so easy to come by compared to the SVT . Congrats to those who've got one. I'm a Mopar Man myself, but I like some Fords. I love ALL Dom. over most imps. anyday though

I'll stick to the older shit , newer isn't always better.IMO.Newer engines & cars are designed to save your life & be replaced not repaired. Cheaper to replace than to repair. Older cars can be just as reliable.

@Navajas440 I actually had a very bad experience with my very first car its was a 87 Jeep wrangler carbureted. It ran like crap and I wish it would have been fuel injected. Of course I understand newer cars require you to be a little more technology savy. Had you had problems with newer cars? Check engine light making you mad? I will have to disagree on the fact that they are replaced and not repaired. Unless you are talking about having to change timing belts which is really expensive...

@valflyinf I worked on Ford E-350's from 00'+ at my lst job and I noticed when ordering parts for the 6.8 V10's that I seldom got or heard the "rebuilt" parts. They're heaper to replace than to rebuild. Even the headbolts aren't re-usable once they've been torqued on the newer shit. Now older shit was built with emphasis on quality unlike today with the emphasis on production output. Try Volvo TB that run $800.+ And TB made out of rubber ? What happened to chains , and steel bumpers ?

i know stock for stock mach 1 and camaro ss are exactly the same in acceleration but i will not bring up engine size as a difference because i hate hearing that from ricer 1.8 L but i will say mach 1 has 5 speed and camaro 6 speed. giving the mach a 6 speed would make it so you can get higher gears such as 3.73s or 4.10s and have much better acceleration.
