The US sometimes apologizes too much. There is a debate in Japan right now. Some Japanese do not want foreign immigrants to participate in politics. So I'm wondering what Japanese Americans think about that.

These right wing Japs are so narrow-minded. Even if these immigrants' children are born and raised in Japan, they still won't trust these children.

These children are treated in the same way that the US treated Japanese Americans.

I once went to this museum in Los Angeles with a japanese friend and it was a wonderfull experience. A lot of history and culture but one person there made me felt unwelcome. He said something that I did not understand," (この移民を見て)", but my friend translated it into english and told me to just ignore it. :(

Not that this makes it right, but Japan in nature is an exclusive country. The reason people immigrate to America is because it's the land of opportunity and equality. It's not really a good argument in that way. No one ever said that anyone should get citizenship but even illegal immigrants should have basic rights that were denied to them during that time.
