Music died February 3, 1959. That's when Buddy Holly, his wife, and unborn child were killed in a plane crash. That's why it says "February makes me shiver". Buddy Holly was Don McLean's idol. If you are going to say something, at least know the rest of the story... Please and thank you! -Hal

@KatherineFal a few things: 1) When the piano was invented, most musicians and listeners preached about how it will ruin creativity and how it doesn't take any talent to use and how the harpsichord is the only true instrument 2) those beeps are still music and creative 3) if you don't like listening to it, there are SO MANY country, rock, jazz, blues, and metal bands touring the country and making a living off of it, but most are just not well known. They make their money off of live shows and
@KatherineFal not from studio. 4) this is coming from a classically trained music composition major. Fact is the music industry never dies. It just changes. And right now, it is better than ever. Humanity will always be creative with those 12 tones and infinite rhythms and combinations.
@metallica04100 profit wise the music industry is better than ever. Music wise the industry is in a coma with the RIAA trying to switch off its life support

@RaVaL47 This song came to mind just now, and I needed to hear the lyrics. To Hell with Sopa! People are done with the broken system. America promised rainbows and Lolipops. Now all we have is Diabetes and pollution
@ManBearBg I see why you could say that, yet I would bet you money that if SOPA would be passed (which for now its on hold) it would cripple more than the American people. Do you know how many important companies are based in America? Do you also know that countless of countries depend on those online economies? I am not defending the American idea, I am just defending my rights, I will not say that this country is the best on the world since I have not seen the whole world.
i believe that washington's goal of SOPA and PIPA (to stop online piracy) is ok but the method of censorship goes against our base freedoms. i also disagree with the 90+ million dollar pay out to congress from holywood

ManBearBg 1 week ago

MsZaneman 1 week ago
@MsZaneman you are against piracy? so you think we should pay alot of money to those already way 2 rich artists/managers/money pistons. i disagree
