Hey bro Nice playing! I have a question I want to learn how to play guitar and I'm trying to decide between the IBanez AS73 & Washburn HB35. Which do you recommend? Also, How loud is your Wash burn when it is not plugged into the AMP?
Well, I think this Washburn is a great guitar and it has a really good price. About the Ibanez AS73, I've never tried one, so I can't give an opinion about it (anyway, I guess it should be pretty good too).
When the HB35 isn't plugged into the amp, it sounds louder than a solid-body guitar, but not like an acoustic. It's ok to practice, but that's all...
Thanks for answering back! I am trying to pick a guitar to learn and practice, but with a couple of things in mind. First , I want to practice acoustically, not to loud, but with the option of plug in. Lastly a guitar able to handle all kinds of styles! Another question, Where do you suggest I buy one? with case if possible. Thanks again!
forget about buying a new guitar dude, go to a pawn shop trust me. i have some of the greatest guitars ever made, all for under 300 from a pawn shop down the street. plus used guitars are already broke in, so you don't have to worry about it not sounding great, which takes a few months of playing, just get a hollow body thats used, you won't regret it!
My friend told me not to buy online, unless you've played and held the guitar, it's like buying a car. Also, I've heard it is rare to buy a broken used guitar because most are taken care of. I thought I was going to get a Semi, but I went to a guitar store and played for like 6 hours. I picked up just about every type and kind of Guitar. I narrowed it down to a PRS SE Custom 24 and And Ibanez EWC30, both have thin necks. I'll also try a Pawn Shop, maybe I'll get lucky and find a Custom24 4 200!
by broke in, i mean the wood has aged and the density changes from the vibrations of playing giving it a better sound. the way things work, you can get a $300 guitar at a pawn shop that's just as a good as a $1000 guitar thats new. i mean they just don't make things really well anymore either, plus you'll get a steal of a price on most used gear. and your friend is right, never buy online, you have to know the guitar before you commit to it.
I have nine guitars and only one is new, an epiphone hummingbird. i have a michael kelly les paul $350, a washburn fat les paul $220, a peavey tracer $80, a kramer striker 200 st {Free}, a kona dread nought $99, a washburn acoustic electric $20 and two beginner guitars. go washburn if you can. but definetly get a used one man.
Thanks Bro I really Appreciate it! I heard Washburns are great, but I've never had a chance to play one. None of the Guitar Dealers around here carry them. Aways, I'm going to look at some pawn shops and see if I can find some gold, lol.
muito bom! ;D
