I can say with pride that I was honored to meet these guys and hang out w them b 4 the show @
sarasota Civic Center in mid winter '70-'71. I hitched there from Bradenton w my friend from Conn! We had hitched from .N.J. -and my cousin told me about the concert in Sarasota, so we went and after I started a dual guitar band in N.J.!! Long live ABB!
Oh boy... If you've got some time, you've got to see this. 25 minutes of early Allman Brothers footage (1970). Right after high school, these guys were my influences and still are today.
love Blues love this band and yes this was the best of times but they made great albums aftwords too like Brothers and Sister Where It All Regains, and Hitin' The Note
thanks, i keep trying to figure it out. you're probably right. i saw a video of rose hill cemetary, and it's a nice park, i can see why the brothers liked to play there.

The ORIGINAL ABB is the greatest rock/blues band America ever created. Nothing more needs to be said.
