Thanks for the informative video. I made the savory lassi and it was delicious. It was amazing how much more flavor fresh cardomom has straight out of a pod than cardomom that was ground a year earlier! I felt like it was the magic ingredient (I also ground it with a mortar and pestle before throwing in the blender). I followed a 1 to 1 ratio for the yogurt/milk, but found it to be milk-like in consistency, so next time I will try a 2 to 1 yogurt/milk ratio. Thanks again!
i think to make great authentic lassi you just try yoghurt, ice cubes (milk doesn't work) that well and sugar, fruit can be added or marajuana to make a bhang

LOL. I've always wondered about the savory and salted lassis. Had a feeling the critique wasn't going to be favorable when I spotted that little grin after his first sip. Glad you left it in though because it was really funny and playful. Think I'll try making a fruit lassi...the salted one can remain one of those things I might try if I ever visit India. Where maybe the extreme heat and cultural ambience will affect my tastebuds in a positive manner. :)
I don't like savory lassi either, I want to like it but I find it gross like that second fellow. Fruit lassi is really good though and I can't wait to try these recipes.
never make a lassi with minapple it makes it very sour and bitter.. and add some cardamon powder. yogurt+ milk or icewater _ mango + card. powder. Is best in my opinion.
great! I'm making the bananna & mango tomorrow for the family. it will be my first time. do i have to freeze the fruit? or can i have just fresh fruit? thanks

Love your accent, who are those lucky men? My version of the banana mango Lassi is to add vanilla & almond extract--just a capful. try it!

Do not add milk to your yogurt, but water to make it thinner. It will taste a lot better and lighter and is far easier to drink.

The Savoury Lassi is more like Turkish Ayran. Regardless what that Englishman says, it's a really good and refreshing drink but an acquired taste.
I wish she'd show how to prepare Lassi with just rosewater, water, sugar and greek style yoghurt.
