Still milk on the lips of that buck, if you wanted that then why not shoot the doe? It would have been better eatin anyway. Go back to Portland and stay the fuck out of our country!!
I am not a horn hunter, I just want what is best for building and maintaing a healthy heard. And killing forkys is not doing that. What they need to do is open up more doe tags. But I see your point as well. Good luck this year.
Yeah nice job on the video, but here's my rub. I don't think the ODFW is doing a very good job managing our mule deer population so I think it is our job as hunters to help out. So I have decided not to shoot any young bucks only mature older bucks. This will help strengthen the heards and increase getting bigger bucks in the future. And if I don't get an oppertunity to do that I won't shoot one that year which is fine too.
Thanks for watching - and I understand your concerns. I both agree and disagree with you, though! :)
I can see your point, but at the same time, I think part of what has killed hunting is the 'trophy' hunting mentality. Hunting used to be about the experience of the hunt - but shows and a different crowd has made it more about the horns, and that's a sad thing in my book. There is a fine line to walk, and each must walk according to his own conscience.
well said! I too feel the same way!!!!!! I wish there was a way to stop the desk jockey's from paying to hunt at farmed animals. To add to that these people pay to get put in a stand and kill a big buck or bull that have been fed growth hormones and they are able to list them in boon and crocket, its a damn shame!! Just another extension of the lack of a dick!!!!!

Ha! Thanks - but I disagree! :) The two whitetails I've eaten came from the mountains of Northern Idaho and tasted way more gamey than our mule deer. But it could be that I just grew up eating muleys. Anyways, thanks for watching!
Thanks, man. That was Todd's first attempt at running a camera - I thought he did a pretty good job. The elk is fuzzy because I had our backup camera - I'm discarding it after seeing the poor footage it took, though.

@thesamples32 Portland? I grew up in Vale, my friend - I'm no city slicker. And horn hunters disgust me.
