hey really good, ive listened to it with both versions on top of eachother at the right time and it sounds AMAZING! you have to get the timing right by playing the beyonce version a few seconds after Jon's begings, but it sounds amazing!! can u overlay the two versions for the 2 songs please? it is amazing.

What you have to understand is that changing "smack" into "smash" completely changes the meaning of the song. When Jon sings it it's a nice song, but he wants to run smack into the girl. Nothing more. But when Beyonce sings it she wants to run and smash into him, meaning she can't contain her love and she wants to run so fast that they collide and become one. It's really vulnerable and beautiful and so I can't be mad at her for changing the word.

I know what you mean, but rules are rules and changing any of the words or melodies in a song gets you a credit as a songwriter, but only for that particular version. Her name won't be added to Jon's version.
